Such an amazing play centre/cafe. Welcoming staff & friendly environment.
Plenty of play space for the kids who were happy for hours and didn’t want to leave. So engaging & clean. Will recommend to friends and family & will be going back again. Already booked my son’s birthday!
Food was generous and well priced, we even had free face painting on the day as an added bonus.

Really drab and dingy little play centre. Very basic. Really quiet which was good for parking. I wouldn’t hold a birthday party here. Even the poor girl working looked miserable.

Arrived at 9.30am when it was supposed to open.no lights on, door locked and closed sign up. Waited until 9.45am when a staff member finally arrived, no apology for being late. Centre is very run down and dirty. Avoid this place!

I’m sorry but this was by far the worst play centre we have visited. One worker waited 15 mins to gain entry it was freezing cold and very uninviting we couldn’t stay. The smell of burnt oil and seeing people waiting over 30 mins for any kind of food just made us decide to go some place else. I’m sorry but we will not be returning.

Filthy. The baby area is really not designed for babies at all. The toys were all broken and the floor tiles were all separated and dirt and debris all in the cracks. The bars had no padding like the other parts and just quite unsafe and unhygienic. The baby change area was also filthy. Very run down and dirty. Would not come back. Such a shame as there’s nothing like this in this area. They also charge $5 for babies over 4 months where I found other play centres were free until 12 months.

The place looks run down and out of date. Also it looks like it is not cleaned every year, rubbish and wrappers are everywhere. I would not come back here.

My little one celebrated his first birthday here a few months ago. Everyone had a good time! The only issue we had (guests also commented on it) was that the food and coffee took a really long time to serve (at least 30 mins for the coffee and an hour for the sandwiches). The sandwiches were also very plain and almost had nothing in it. Other than that, we were pleased!

Place was filthy so much dirt and debris built up between the mats our white socks were black when we left and we were there at open worker said cleaned daily. Not the case it’s absolutely filthy not a healthy clean environment for little ones

We had an after hours hire party. Was a great space with lots of tables and chairs for adults to sit around while the kids played. All the kids had a ball. The staff was good on the night and wasn’t hovering but made herself available when needed.

It was by far the dirtiest place I have ever taken my granddaughter. Only one staff member toilets dirt and open. We were there just after opening and there was food and rubbish all over the floor. It looks like it’s never been cleaned.

I don’t believe the previous reviews for a minute. This place is so dirty and neglected I’m surprised the health inspector hasn’t come in to pay them a visit. Dirty food wrappers all through the ground. Spilt drinks on the Matt’s. Dust all over the equipment. The worst maintained indoor centre I’ve ever seen. The owners should be ashamed on themselves.

We hired one of the party rooms for my son’s birthday and they were so great to deal with! Nothing was a problem and all the kids had a great time! There was a good amount of food too.

Hopefully this review will bring about change to this centre as it has potential to be good.

Equipment is dated and some parts require TLC and repair. We were laughing and in disbelief with another guest - an old Mccains Pizza box had been used as a cover for one of the play equipment windows!

Unused play equipment, table and chairs were shoved into any empty space. There was a gated off space to the left of the entrance that housed old broken fans with cobwebs, spare chairs and tables, piles of broken old plastic play equipment. 2 out of the 4 arcade games were not working and missing a joystick.

When you climb to the top of the equipment, you can see random bits of foam and plastic play equipment ontop of party room roofs and shoved into corner covered in dust.

The entire centre needs a good vacuum, especially the back area with the toy cars.

We went at peak time on a Sunday and there were no parties booked in the 3 party rooms. Perhaps use one of those as ‘storage’ if the centre isn’t yielding enough parties yet? It’ll tidy up the place a little?

I felt for the single staff member, looking after the kitchen, cafe and floor.

At previous play centres we were allowed to join our kids on the equipment to assist them up and down. We assumed the same with this centre, and immediately after going the slide, the sole staff member wrote a stuck a written sign saying ‘no adults climbing’ on the equipment without saying a thing to us directly. Quite embarrassing especially infront of other guests (they would have seen us on) we really wish she told us discreetly and we would have obliged.

Major improvements required and we certainly will not be recommending this to anybody until a complete makeover occurs

We had a private hire at The Silly Seahorse on a Friday night. The venue was clean and tidy, the bathrooms clean and the service area also spotless. The owner / manager was helpful and assisted us with setting up before the party and cleaning up after the party. He was polite and very helpful. It was great that we were allowed to set up how we wanted and move tables/chairs to suit. The café food / hot drinks were great and super helpful when hosting a party. Coffee was also a hit! Couldn't thank them more for there service for my daughter birthday and we definitely will be back!

Great little play centre for the younger kids. Entry price of $5 is amazing. The only thing stopping it from being 5 stars was the fact there was only one staff member on and once it started to get busy she seemed like she could have benefitted from another set of hands. Orders were very slow to come out. Will definitely be back though

Needs more regular cleaning, or just cleaning in general. Stuff is dumped everywhere and many toys are damaged. Staff seem nice.

Wouldn’t recommend this play centre. Took my one year old here on a 28 degree day to get out of the heat and it was about 32 degrees inside this centre. There was food all over the floor and every area was very cluttered and my 12 months old was so overwhelmed and couldn’t walk anywhere without tripping over. Waited at the front for five minutes before a staff member came to let us in. Wouldn’t come back as it’s very dirty, hot and super cluttered and messy.

Great for the little kids. Took my 2 year old daughter here, wasn’t too sure what to expect due to the dingy looking facade. But there is so many options for the smaller kids to roam around without you having to climb in with them, and although there is a larger playground for the bigger kids, it’s not super huge and overwhelming like some other indoor play centres. I also loved how affordable it is, same as the food, and it was nice and quiet. Hidden little gem, I actually prefer it for a toddler rather than bigger places like funtopia, that are best suited for bigger kids.

Had a birthday party here on the weekend. It was pretty well organised. We changed a few things around on the menu, no hassle from the owner Faye. Good value for money. Kids always have lots of fun playing here. Will definitely come back.
