The Settlement at Cranbourne

Found 2 hair (quite long) in a parma and the side green salad. When reported to staffs, they said they had no one in the kitchen with that hair length and flatly denied and were not even apologetic at all. Were they saying it was us trying to put hair in the food to get it for free? (we all had black hair and up in buns and ponytails). Quite disappointed.

Bistro was quiet had the Spanish Paella which was dissapointing they forgot the Scallops, muscles and only 2 prawns. The Saffron was the non genuine coloring. For $25 not good enough.

The timeless designed interior of the bistro that beams with natural light is a great atmosphere for a small bite and refreshing drink. Unfortunately only a 4 star rating because customer service fell flat. Despite a near empty floor, we felt rushed and the attendant lacked the basics of customer service ie. Greeting, smiling, eye contact.

Slow service. No one waiting but me. Lots of staff! Mmmm that's food for thought! But I guess I'm not here to play the pokies! So I don't count! The local pubs aren't like they used to be!

Nice enough staff the food is a total let down to the place, and you tell management this but they do nothing about the poor quality food that is cook there, shame on

The service was good. The meal was acceptable. On the day we were sitting near the children's play area and it was unpleasant due to the excessive screaming.

I hadn't eaten here for a few years after a poor experience, but it seems that there have been some significant improvements since then. The food was very well prepared and presented, my only disappointment was that I couldn't finish it! The staff were really friendly and great personalities and made the evening most enjoyable. The prices are also very good for the quality. Will definitely come back again soon.

Back for a second time for a night away. Room is lovely. Smells so fresh and is spotless. Room service is a plus to make the night even more special. Staff friendly and accomodating. Thank u.

Lovely, clean and comfortable. King beds are cosy. I slept like a log.
Just wish belly was cooked for you. I to nice to be pampered when away.

Lamb was tough and tasted and smelt old, all other food was good (chicken cooked perfectly) guy serving at the bar seemed to have better things to be doing

Went there tonight ordered lasagne only to be cold sent it back waiter bought another over only to be cold again

Paid 32 for the worst steak I've ever seen. We had a little toddler, Play ground is video games. With a piss soaked play area up the back. Thanks but no thanks

Had a meal there. Amazing food, much better than expected, but a little expensive. Good drinks, good service. Bit dead for a Friday night though. Wish it would have had a live band or similar.

Those wood fired pizzas are to die for! Smash a BBQ chicken pizza down chased by a fresh cold beer (or other non-alcoholic beverages) and you're in for a good night! Massive place with zero "cramped" feels even when the place is packed full of Thursday Night Trivia goers.

Meals were quit expensive but they were huge and very tasty, well presented and hot, but, one child's meal took far too long to arrive, most of us had almost finished when it finally turned up (Chicken tenders, not even crumbed). Thank goodness for the kids Zone! Staff are very nice and attentive and the restaurant was very clean.

All good for myself but there in no TAB for those who like more than the pokies. No problems with the food or bar service etc.

We were there with friends and had a very enjoyable night! Good food good wine and good conversation! That's all you can ask for

We had a few quiet drinks out the front for a change (normally this is our local go-to counter meal restaurant). Such a nice relaxing atmosphere, to watch the sunset over a few bevs.

Worth It:
We have eaten there about every two months for the last five years.
We have found the food to be good, service good and the staff friendly.
We don't know what all the fuss is about, we always enjoy our meals there.
