The Old Town 'N' Country Tavern

Mum and I had lunch here today and the service is excellent they go above and beyond and the Chicken Sizzle and my porterhouse steak was cooked to perfection. Thankyou for making our day nicer!

Pros: Enjoyable Tavern, with local town pub/hotel feel. Large meals, and reasonably priced, commercial, beers. Friendly and helpful staff.

Cons: Chicken schnitzel was quite thin, and gravy a bit watery. Meals were quite expensive (>$20 for schnitzel/parmi).

Still getting the hang of Aussie pubs, but the staff were friendly and the food and cocktails were good.

Good food. Clean dining. Some great staff couple were purely not wanting to be there. Would return again.

We had a lovely bar meal there and enjoyed the service provided by the front of house staff.

Been renovated looks fantastic. Very open and spacious. Food was very good. I could shred roast beef with my fork. Excellent customer service.

Brilliant food but the wine was awful. Poor selection of very mediocre wines from which to choose, and each also tasted as though they'd been open for several days before serving.

Yeah look this place is just a good vibe with great customer service bloke in there running it is doing a great job and the food is awesome haven't had a bad meal yet iv been more than a dozen times also purchasing off the take away menu was just as good I recommend the loaded fries yummy as

Menu says chicken Parma and also gives the option of a big chicken Parma which would indicate a normal size then a larger one but it's actually a normal size and then a half one. Was some hungry people when leaving. The salad was just mixed lettuce and 2 pieces of tomato and minimal. The service was just as bad as the food, not once did the waitress smile and was very blunt and rude.will not be going back there.

Amazing food! The chicken liver pate starter with orange balsamic glaze was to die for. The barramundi was beautifully cooked. And the sticky date pudding? Leave enough room to try this, you won't be disappointed.

Terrible place wait time is 2 hours for food 60% of the ppl here cancelled there orders and we will be one of them.waited over an hour for food and still 7 orders in front of us

Busy friday night. Staff friendly and helpful. Good food but had issue with an overcooked steak. Mger gave a voucher to compensate. Recommend.

The Tavern has been taken over by mew management. I have a a seniors meal for $13 Roast beef it was so tender and for a seniors meal a decent size.

Had lunch for three there today and all of us had the roast. The meat was chewy and mother in law couldn't eat it. The veggies on the plate were average to say the least. Potato and parsnip were ok but the carrot was hard and the broccoli was that nearly all stalk (apparently it was Broccolini) and that hard that a termite wouldn't go near it. At first I thought hays it I won't be going back there but the new owners have contacted me and they weren't impressed with the quality of the beef either, so they took it off the menu for that weekend and have offered me a $60 credit for another meal. They've gone to great lengths to satisfy a disgruntled customer and as it seems to stem back to the supplier and the quality of the meat supplied. I'm going in to speak to the new owners and try their menu again.

Absolutely loved the meal the service and the beautifull cold beer would recommend to any one give them a try.

My husband and I had dinner at the tavern tonight all the way from Qld and we both really enjoyed our steak mine was cooked to perfection. This is the first time that my husband has ever seen me eat a whole meal so that is saying something. Just a great place all round thank you for having us.
