The Old Town 'N' Country Tavern

Not a good experience from the minuite I walked in the door. Owners are very rude. Wouldn't know customer service if it hit them in the face.
I had the Squid and it was not edible dry and salad was wilted and not fresh. Clearly there's no quality control or care given.

Cheese and bacon bread is one of my favourite snacks. Roast beef is just beautiful. Highly recommend.

We didnt have a very good experience for our fathers wake, gave feed back to shayne who said she would action our complaints straight away as they had another wake a couple of days latter. It was refreshing to be able to talk to a manager that was able to accept and to take action on our complaints

Always nice big fresh meals, chefs take pride in their cooking.staff are friendly and welcoming and will ensure you have a good experience. Great play area for kids and bonus kids menu have colouring attached so keeps them entertained throughout the whole time.

Staff super friendly and went out of their way to help us. Food was top notch. Wish there were more than 3 average beers on tap though!

Meals were not good for the price. Wait person got order wrong so we ate at different times. Poor performance

Had a beautiful Pot Pie it had steak bacon and cheese in it also come with chips definitely recommend it

You know how we all want the steak but if fussy we don’t want to waste the $$? Well I can reassure anyone who wants a incredible and PERFECT steak to try a T&C scotch! I’m very particular and I’ve attended a wedding here where 30+ steaks cooked, all perfect. Parma’s are also the bee’s knee’s! Recently attended for a lunch and the staff where super accomodating (huge mentioned to Veronica) very pleasant and happy to make sure all was well and enjoyed! Also a play area for the kids and super child friendly! Owner Shayne has an amazing team and I’ll continue to advise anyone to give this venue a try!

Food was good, prices average.
Staff ok, manageress very abrupt as we arrived about a face mask but said nothing to others. Double standards, she let the side down

All the staff we encountered throughout out night out with the kids for dinner were extremely rude. Especially the middle aged woman serving at the bar in the restaurant.
The staff need to have some extensive customer service training.
We will not be returning to this joke of a country pub ever again!

Friendly service, Yummy traditional pub meals with generous portions for both children and adult serves. Fast delivery of children's meals upon ordering and generous portions. Free drink or icecream upon ordering children's meals. On Sunday nights children eat free with order of adult main meal.

Awesome child offerings with an indoor playground and colouring on tables.

Pub food done well and at reasonable prices. Nice touch to receive an email thanking me for dining there. I will certainly be do that the next time I am in the town.

Dining kitchen open until 9pm typical pub food ie chicken Parma & fish and chips were good. There was a giant metal "Ned Kelly" statue nearby. This place was not crowded & there was plenty of pokies if you are into it!

Thoroughly enjoyed my roast beef meal. Beautifully cooked. Well priced. Enjoyed this experience very much.

Fine Service, excellent meals and great atmosphere. Will certainly be returning and compliments to the chef on a perfect steak! Keep up the good work. Will be back!

It would help if we actually got our meal to review it. Meal never showed up, then Aerial demand it to see our bank app to prove the money was taken out, which we showed. And money had been taken out. And the young man that served us was telling Aerial that he took our order, Yet she insisted nothing was on her symptom, Kitchen now close, So we go home hungry and nothing else open, Thanks tavern for a great night out not.

Average, but friendly staff. Food just alright.

Delightful service, much improved. Meal was fantastic, we both had the Egyptian sizzling chicken, comes with a side salad, yogurt/garlic sauce and Turkish bread. Best meal ever and when l gave my compliments to the waitress was told the dish is a regular sell out.
Would recommend this if you like a little spice in your life.

You guys out did yourselves again especially in lock down my husband and myself had a lockdown dinner date at home the food was Amazing thank you.

This hotel offers the warmest welcome in town and you can't go wrong with the marvellous menu on offer at very reasonable prices. I promise you will have a great experience every time at the O, T & C. 10/10
