Seats need an upgrade. Toilets could do with a make over.
Lovely old theatre. Needs to be refreshed.

Small and cozy theater. The acoustics were very good and allowed us to enjoy the chandelier show.

This theatre is wonderful. Every seat offers a great view. It's a beautiful old building with original features. The only detracting aspect is that it's difficult to find car parking that will last through the whole show.

It's a lovely old theatre in need of major repairs. Not sure who owns this beautiful building but they need to invest in serious renovations. As a venue is been great, staff are generally friendly and helpful. I would give it higher rating if it was renovated.

A great historical theatre providing wonderful performances and opportunity to both professional and budding artists

Amazing space. Staff were incredibly kind and helpful. Felt spacious and organised. Seats were quite comfy considering their age too! Nearly lost a star for the pricey Malteasers but got it back for having an old fashioned ice cream seller with a tray!

Staff were great. Food prices not too bad. But they really need bigger and more comfortable seats.

Really nice place, only thing is the seats are not the best as they are quite small. Love the old Hollywood vibe of this place. There is no parking on site, so recommend you do some planning if you're not interested in moving your car after 2 hours.

What a great place to see Nai Palm - always wanted to see a show in the National Theatre - great stage!

The theatre is overall nice. They have maintained the old rustic but royal look. The seats are a bit uncomfortable for longer hours, apart from that everything is good!

Great little theatre. Seats are old and tightly packed, but comfortable enough. Great view of the stage from all seats.

Great heritage venue with a steep rake, allowing a good view of the stage from most seats.

Interesting and varied programme throughout the year. The venue has some wheelchair accessible seats. Some steps are irregular heights so take care when getting to your seat.

Beautiful old theatre but the seats in the upper circle (row J and up) were made for much smaller people so if you are tall and/or larger you are going to be uncomfortable. The front lounge seats are a bit wider and have more leg room. Thanks to the nice staff who let me change seats after intermission.

Very lovely old venue, seats were comfy and roomy enough, staff were very friendly and helpful, canteen was adequate for the show. Have only dropped 1 star as I could see some of the interior was in disrepair obviously given how old the building is this would be a costly fete so I understand why. Nevertheless, if this was repaired easily 5 stars.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to the larger than life character with the paraphrased Priscilla jokes at the ticket box; he got us two great tickets 20 min before a packed show. Cloc's production of Priscilla was an audiovisual feast!

Para los Latinos. Si quieren otra punta de vista del estereotipico Aussie, Aussie Oi! Oi! Tienen que ver esta producción!

Spacious and disabled accessibility is very nice overall, however the stairs to the seat were very high from the one below and made it hard for elderly audience members.

Charming old theatre, don't miss the choc tops at the intervals, great selection of small restaurants on the street opposite.

Beautiful big theatre with excellent air conditioning
Lots of leg & shoulder room in the old fashioned seats. A remarkable jewel in the crown of StKilda

To watch music/acting performance great. Seating ordinary and general lighting for accessing the interior of the theatre poor.
