The Munster Arms Hotel reviews
54Wow Ballarat is amazing with lovely people but a local recommended the Munster Arms and we we not disappointed. Greeted by customers as well as the staff, service was impeccable and the food was delicious and value for money. The staff came and chatted to us and gave their knowledge on Ballarat which was interesting and delightful. We shall return tomorrow because they welcomed us like family. Big thumbs up from Mornington Peninsula people
Recommended. It's a friendly, cosy pub, with a really high standard of food. And the portions are huge.
Ainsley is such a credit to this place! Her food recommendations proved spot on and her pleasant manner added to our enjoyment.
We tried the salmon and the mushroom gnocchi and certainly had a meal to remember. We will be returning to work our way through the other choices on the menu.
Great atmosphere, with the music tonight, food was great. Was the perfect place on a cold wet ballarat evening.
Great little pub. Went for a lunch meal and wasn't disappointed. Classic pub meals, great host, good beer. Will go again.
Best chicken parma I've had! Plenty of napoli sauce, fresh chicken, the veggies were hot and crisp & chips crunchy. The waitress Ainsley was lovely and smiley, with nothing too much trouble. All at a reasonable price. Definitely recommend!
Great spot for a pint and a well above pub quality meal.the gnocchi is light and fluffy like clouds and the parmas are filling with quality ingredients
Meals and service were amazing! One and only issue, we have wanted to go there numerous times, but it looked closed. They are apparently open 7 days. Will be back.
Highly recommend checking this out if you are in Ballarat. Popped in expecting it to just be a standard pub but were delighted to find a really great wine beer list, great cocktails that the staff knew how to make properly and an inventive menu blending pub classics with modern Asian / Australian fusion. Hats off to the chef, everything that came out was delicious. The fried chicken with vinegar was perfection and to top it all off a few in our group go to relive their childhood with an Australian 80s classic with "lemon delicious" for dessert.
Staff were super friendly and dealt easily with our large group. Fitout is retro suburban / regional Australiana and there's also a heap of boardgames if you're just looking to while away a few hours by the fire.
A friendly pub that caters to many different tastes, three generations of our family love coming here.
What a pleasure to find this place. Had lunch here and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. Delicious food, excellent service. The place had a lovely ambience as well.will definitely be back.
Dedicated vegan dishes, I was impressed. Beers on tap were a global selection. Wine chooses were perfect. There was a live jazz band and that made the venue kinda special. All the dishes we had were quite impressive.
Good food the cook obviously knows what she is doing and the friendly front end made for a comfortable and relaxing environment.
The cheese platter was the surprise of the night as the pcikled grapes were quite the surprise that combined perfectly with the rest of the platter.
Great food, at first the menu just seemed like it shouldn't work, but it does and such great flavours.
