Just a little business tip for you. When your cash register can’t give change for a $50 note send a staff member down to the bank. Don’t expect your customers to go searching for another store to break a $50 for you.
Would have taken my business else today had I not been with a large group, certainly won’t be returning.

Wife, Daughter and I came in for breakfast this morning.from minute we walked in to we walked out was greeted and farewelled very nicely.

Food was fantastic but coffee was exceptional. Had things for kids to do to keep them occupied also.

The fairy bread was a huge hit with our daughter.
Definitely going back.

Coffee was nice. Waited to be seated whilst a male staff member read the paper behind the counter. The interior requires redecorating, it's a bit rough.
Didn't eat, so don't know how good the food is, but there were a few people there.

A little slow with the kids bowls of chips, but worth waiting for. Coffee wonderful, staff lovely.

Lovely owners and staff. The shop was extremely busy on the market day during lunch time but the service was fairly quick. Coffee is exceptional. Chicken schnitzel burger was beyond my expectations; when asked, one of the staff responded that they make their schnitzels fresh. Their side of hot chips was also so yummy. And on top of that, I paid a fair amount for a big schnitzel burger and a cup of coffee which kept me full until the end of the day. Highly recommended.

Nice coffee, but everything is overpriced for what it is, the breakfast was incredibly average and obviously not made by a chef, and at those prices you would expect more. We had the big breakfast and vegan breakfast and it was all sounded a lot nicer on the menu than in reality.

Great place to stop halfway through the Cockatoo to Emerald bike track. Coffee was nice and hot and lemon square was delicious.

The coffee was not as nice a year ago. The service was horrible, six people who didn't care about me asking for a table. Ordered something that came up missing an ingredient, a misunderstanding regarding what was ordered and what came out. Please don't be detered about my experience check it out for yourselves they might just have had a bad day.

Great little cafe, now across two shopfronts.

The brekkie menu has the classics, the chicken parmi was a good size and with a generous salad and chips, and the nachos were as always delicious.

Don't forget the great coffee too

Great food friendly staff usually only go to get milkshakes for the kids but food was great and they were very good with the kids too. Giving them things to do while we were waiting for food. The location is also amazing as it's right next to the park and Puffing Billy.

This place has recommended by our Aussie friend, Lisa. We ordered two fried chicken and chips, two cups of Cappucino, Macha Latte, and a the sandwich. The cappuccino was nice, while the chicken and friends tasted ok. The staff here is very friendly.

After a bit of an absence for a while, we returned to find new owners. Not sure why we have stayed away for so long. We shared a breakfast and it was magnificent. Great service, good coffee and more than enough brekkie for two, sharing. And the takeaway croissants we had the next day were absolutely delicious too.

What a little gem in Emerald.
It's nice to find a cafe that not only supplied great tasting food in generous proportions but are friendly and encourage a little messing with the menu. It's fresh change as most establishments nowadays meet you with signs about what they don't allow!
Will definitely be back. Soon!

Was standing there for so long I actually forgot what I was doing, bacon tasted rubber, customer service was so bad it was actually entertaining. 2 stars from me lad

Best breakfast in Emerald paired with excellent customer service. Amazing coffee. We had the ham and eggs benny with 2 hash browns (hash browns with hollandaise is too good) and the croissant burger. Their croissants are homemade and so flaky and delicious. A must try in Emerald! (Photo of the croissant burger as my partner gobbled up the benny!)

Service just ok.
Gluten free cakes were only partially labelled as such. Choc brownie was identified clearly.
Was told several cakes were gluten free but not labelled as such. Should be labelled!

Update Feb 22 new owners, coffee still good, service still good, egg and bacon roll tastes great although I miss the relish you used to get.
Update jun21 wow has this place changed, its now double the size and still as warm and friendly as the smaller version. Had lunch with a mate and we be enjoyed ourselves and the food. Huge serves!
Went in here today to get out of the cold. Warm friendly atmosphere. Friendly staff. Cook service was really slow but they apologised and made up for it with free cake. Such simple things take the delay and make it insignificant. So come here again

First time visiting emerald and had an amazing breakfast at the cafe! The customer service was very good.the kids were given colouring books to entertain themselves while we finished are food in peace. Five stars for both food and service.
