1 star and thats being generous. Brunette lady working was so rude the minute I stepped through the door. I ended up putting everything I had to buy back and get out of the store as soon as a could. It's not even about great customer service but perhaps just try being a nice person!

My partner and I are big fans of this store, We love the product range and the level services we receive every time. I highly recommend this store, they have always been able to cater to our needs and have been extremely helpful in assisting us with our skin and hair care needs.

Have been here a few times because my sister likes it. Everytime the service has been horrible. Staff are generally rude, disdainful, pretentious and disinterested. You are either treated suspiciously and watched like a hawk (but not actually provided with service)
or dismissed and ignored for ages before you can get any service at all. Don't bother with the snobs and go elsewhere.

Avoid this place! All about supporting small businesses over the bigger ones (think Mecca/Sephora) but would never return to The Lab after having experienced the poorest customer service 15/3/20. Was followed around the shop and watched closely like a thief (not once was I asked if I needed help or had any questions). I attempted to ask questions about products with intention of buying a new Serum only to be TOLD in a rude manner (not asked but told with certainty) that I had been in the store and given samples the previous week (total BS, I live an hour away and hadn't been there before), staff have a general air of arrogance (one particular staff member on the day). Vote with your wallet and shop at the larger stores I mention above.funnily enough those women in said stores who are run off their feet with a tonne of customers in front of them still manage to provide nothing but calm, friendly, helpful & courteous services! To The Lab - educate your staff on the importance and value to a business of providing kind & helpful customer service.

I buy my products online but always call first to get advice and recommendations. All the staff are so informative and they are always happy to help me and answer all my questions. My orders arrive quickly with a beautiful hand written note. Wonderful service, so happy to shop here. The best selection of natural beauty brands in Australia - thanks ladies

A poor purchasing experience: I made an order, one of the products I purchased was apparently on backorder when I bought it, so I waited for over a month to receive it. I had bought the product as a gift and needed it by a particular date, which I didn't get it by, and while I was waiting for it I had to initiate contact for updates, the store never reached out to me with updates. I was told they would include free samples in the parcel as an apology for the wait time, which I thought was a nice gesture, but when the backordered product arrived there weren't any free samples.

Such incredible customer service. Having lived close previously I have now had to turn to online purchasing and their impeccable customer service has continued over the phone. In such great hands and by far the best place to shop in Aus for beauty products.

Came in with a friend to purchase some makeup and left feeling really happy! The shop assistant was so knowledgeable and friendly - she cared for my friends concerns and didnt just try to sell her anything and everything she could! She gave us all some samples when we left and i will definitely be returning next time im in melbourne:)

Expensive but I like it because of the zero waste products.
$30 for a nail brush is steep but the only place I could find a no-plastic product.

Was told about this place by a friend, great selection of natural products, got all my presents beautifully wrapped, a great little find.

Agree with Sarah and Mary, had the most awful appalling experience with staff and pretentiousness, rudeness and just plain bad service.
I walked out of shop and despite good range of some products don't want to return on principle.
If it was staff that were rude/poor customer service replace them. If it was the owner then what can I say, there's no hope basically.

The alluring scent that was drifting out of this shop was too tempting! We were walking past and couldn't help but go in. We walked out with some beautiful gifts for my mother in laws birthday & mothers day, all sorted

What a nice place to browse the shelves! Lots of beautiful scents to swoon over and luxury items to add to mental wishlists.

I ordered the jade facial roller this week and it came in 3 days. However, the actual product does not look like what was shown in the picture. It is very dark green and does not look like jade at all. The larger roller side is not as long as the photo shows and squeaks every time I roll it. I received the product in a box about the size of a shoe box but when i opened it, there were 2 layers of tissue paper and then bubble wrap. The actual product is very small. The rollers on both ends are actually lopsided and my roller doesn't even lie flat.

Excellent service, the sales people know their products very well and are full of advice. And of course, beautiful products.
