The Groove Train Casey

Went to Groove Train Casey for lunch today as we do at least once a fortnight.
The prices for the meals went up by approx $5.00. They do not offer a seniors menu, so we thought to use the the points earned on our rewards card which we scan every time we eat there or have a coffee and guess what there were no points recorded. I asked the girl at the register where our points were and she says sometimes HO has problems loading them. NOT GOOD ENOUGH. We have gone there quite alot, enough for the waitress to know our coffee order by heart. I estimate that we would have had at least a minimum of $10.00 in points on the card. If you do not intend to honour your commitment then why make one.

Extremely disappointing. Service was non existent. When mentioned this staff who were rude and had the door slammed behind me. Used to frequent often. Not any more

Definitely 5 stars. Amazing food. Wonderful atmosphere. Service and staff are great. Beer icy cold. Had the chili eggs, meat platter, sweet potato chips, meatballs (over a couple different visits) each just as amazing as the other

Always enjoy a delicious and good proportioned meal. Staff always friendly and the venue clean. Am slowly make my way through there menu. Glad it was my 1st restaurant visit after latest Lockdown.

Bought 2 burgers and a open sandwich. The burgers was so disgusting i had to throw it away. Tomatoes was still green, lettuce was like 3 weeks old, the chicken is almost non existent in the burger. The sandwich is advertised as a marinated fillet, but its just minute steak and extremely dry. All this for a very high price on the items.really bad!

Business wasnt progessive enough to legally arrange temporary excemptions like others have, to avoid the green tick question of staff and customers, contributing to the segregating of the community.

Food is always amazing can be bit pricey but worth the taste? I prefer to order via phone and pick up the food simply because uber/menulog charge arm and a leg. Go in and say hi, support our local.

I ordered Salted Calamari with chips and swapped with onion rings and I made the best choice. It was amazing. Also ordered Lamb Pizza, chicken parmigiana, seafood casserole which is not great for first timers. Ordered sparkling wine which was great with the food. For dessert, tiramisu, lemon tart, and redvelvet cake which was I must say terrible.

Went here for dinner with the family. The wait staff were friendly and attentive, and the food came out really quickly. Everything was hot and delicious. Amazing pizzas, tasty chips and awesome chicken souvlaki. Will definitely go back.

Lovely meals except for the salad or lack thereof, no dressing, tomato or onion just plain greenery, but still a worthwhile meal.

We have tried all the breafast menu and our favourite is “The Whole Hog”. The staff are really great and atmosphere is great. We recommend this place for great breakfast:)

Always a great meal here. Will keep coming back. Excellent service, polite, friendly and helpful staff. Lovely food.

Ordered for pick up during lockdown recently and was thoughouly disappointed with the serving I received. I ordered Greek lamb salad and my other half ordered a fisherman's basket. As we opened our takeaway foil tray we were expecting a nice full tray of food that would fill us up like every other place we order from. But instead we got a sad amount of fish with a few greens and a slice of lemon in the fisherman's basket. And again, a few leaves and cucumber pieces with some grilled lamb and a few pieces of pita bread in the salad. For a $30 salad and a nearly $40 fish meal it was pretty disappointing.
Only reason its not 1 star is because it tasted lovely! Just didn't fill us up.

We have never had a bad meal from this place. Takeaway during lockdown and also dine in o it side of lockdown. Food is amazing, service is amazing. Can’t fault anything

Waitress was absolutely lovely and understanding when we had to wait on a family member that was running late. My sister said her spaghetti Bolognese was the best she ever had. I had the lamb souvlaki, was good. Could have used a little more meat but very nice and fresh. Nice atmosphere, good food and great service. Five stars!

Amazing service and quality food. Couldn't fault anything. We ordered the tandoori chicken pizza for entrees. The sauce on top of the pizza was a great finishing touch. For mains we had the steak, fish and chips, pumpkin gnocci and grilled chicken (on the specials menu). Everything was top quality. Highly recommend dining here.
