The Grand Hotel Warrandyte reviews
73Great atmosphere, food and just the perfect place to have a drink or eat in beautiful Warrandyte
Had a Parma and chips, staff were pleasant and the food was cooked to my liking. Will go back again
Can't recommend. Food and drinks are typical and nothing to write home about, but the service was astoundingly bad. Appreciate that it was a really busy day but after lining up for 10 minutes, was told that for orders with food it was another line, then after queuing another 15 minutes in that line, someone was put in front of me by staff because they had been queueing in the wrong line?
Seems fair. Then when it's finally my turn to order I'm told I couldnt get drinks in that line.and had to queue up from in the first line AGAIN. In all I spent half an hour in a queue. Just shocking really. Get some signage.
Very nice lunch and wine. Lost a star because of seating. My grandmother who has arthritis found it extremely difficult to get onto the high stool seating. When I asked if there was a normal sized seat and table I was told no. They should think about people with disabilities. Such a shame because we would come very regularly otherwise because the food and wine were nice.
One of the best local hotel/pubs. Decent feed, really good outside decking since reno and service has always been great.
The most experienced waiter, picks and chooses who can take there food home without a food license have seen it first hand.plain not fair.
Amazing place with wonderful staff. And to top it off the uniforms are hilarious, with Dan Andrews saying "get on the beers". Great vibe and location.
Great atmosphere, food was amazing 5 stars from all three of our parties. Will definitely be back for a meal and drinks. Great work team at The Grand Hotel
Chips were very salty. Wagyu beef was undercooked and not very nice. Not as good as pre-covid sadly
Came here on hot New Year's Day afternoon, and asked the lady at counter if they sell coffee here. "NO" was also she said. Well, I understand u sell alcohol and that brings in more benefit to u, but IF I were to work in customer service again, it wouldn't hurt telling the customer in a nicer way, such as "I'm sorry but we do not have coffee" THAN being rude to them.
Parma was nice, venue was nice. The reason for 4 stars is there is always room to improve but mainly because it smelt like chlorine which I believe is the cleaning products they use for sanitization
Great food, terrific service
Very accommodating when we needed to move from high chairs.
Very enjoyable lunch
Uncomplicated pub fare with a high price tag. The wagu burger was undercooked and worse than a much cheaper McDonald's burger. Chips over salty. Had to take the wine back after asking for a sweet wine, so the bar staff wine knowledge is poor. The new outside area is very nice.
