The Gasometer Hotel reviews
66Awesome chill place, with still reasonable priced good range of beer! Staff were friendly too!
A very small venue, lots of spots dont have a great view of the stage but the atmosphere is great and the bar/building itself has a lot of character
Had a great time at the gasometer. Security guard Peter was friendly and inviting and went out of his way to make our group feel safe. Him and the other security guards ensured a comfortable environment for everyone. Would recommend.
Amazing venue, passionate punters, so many different gigs, great bar staff and clean beer lines. Iconic
Not a bad spot, to stop, while on your crawl.
Didn't explore much of this place other then the bar. Good people, good location
Great bar, friendly service clean, queer friendly. Multiple rooms. Tasty drinks & really good pizza
A large, spacious venue, good service, multiple bars and band rooms, smoking area upstairs. A great venue
Here for Jerry Day 2020. Three great bands and solo artist. A room full of Deadheads mellowing and grooving to the music.
Amazing venue for a jonres of music.
Staff are fantastic & very helpful.
Security are friendly & always available for a chat.
Bouncer 943 (Peter) was a legend the whole night even with idiots that needed to be removed he was such a professional with it and made them feel like they had a good night even though they were idiots. And I respected that.
A nice venue where we had a work function for around 200 people. Plenty of space with a pool table and friendly staff
Saw Malibu Spacey play upstairs.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff & drinks well priced.
Love these inner city pubs that give up & coming bands opportunities to play.
Upstairs is a small intimate audience treat. Great sound and within 2m of the artist guaranteed.
Security on the door were incredibly warm and welcoming. Bar staff equally excellent. Great vibe.
Saw a great gig here. Nice atmosphere and really nice staff all around. I was the deso driver so I couldn't drink, but the beer selection looked great, and the 0% beer was alright.
A great, versatile venue with a team of really lovely and professional bar and security staff. This is a brilliant live music venue, with a noticeably good PA. Special thanks to the owner, James, who is not just super friendly and welcoming, but a total sweetheart who went completely out of his way to hunt for (and find!) my jacket after I lost sight of it. Looking forward to the next visit
Tuesday night comedy was fantastic! Free entry, great comedians, good drinks selection, friendly staff. Well worth a visit:)
The Gaso is an absolute Melbourne icon, with amazing staff and a good selection on tap. Tuesday comedy night is definitely worth checking out too. If you like a bit of dark humour and free things (yeah, its free!), definitely head down and have a geez.
Great mix of live music over the weekends, bar staff are legends. The live band karaoke on mondays is dope!
The FREE comedy nights on Tuesdays are an absolute blast. Going to it was absolutely an impulse decision but it turned out to be an amazing night with amazing vibes and amazing people. The host was also absolutely passionate about getting the comedy going and even shouted everyone in the audience a few rounds.
Definitely would recommend if you get the chance.
