The Door Store

I called up to ask some questions about a custom door. The sales person hung up on me after asking a few questions. I called back and asked why he hung up and his answer was “I have a shop full of customers and you kept asking questions. Just email me”. Pathetic customer service. If you are that busy, its best to take down some details and return the call in quieter times perhaps? AVOID THIS BUSINESS! Definitely not getting my business.

Twice pinged them via email for help ordering a door. No response. Wondered if maybe gone out of business.

Excellent service from the moment we walked through the door from a very knowledgable and friendly staff member. Bianca was patient with us as we considered our options and then helped us team our door hardware to create a coherent look. Her expertise relating to mortice locks was invaluable! We were kept up to date with our order throughout. So thrilled with our experience and super happy with our door handles. They're gorgeous!

If your expecting customer service I would not advice shopping here. I went to purchase 12 doors and hardware. We had to ask for assistance after 20mins, with four staff behind the counter and it wasn’t busy. After finally having some help the sales assistant had no interest what so ever and said he would send a quote and asked for our email. Note he never gave his name or a business card and when quote was sent he couldn’t even tally up the final amount or say thank you for visiting.

We then went next door to look for hardware for doors and where greeted by two frumpy ladies looking at us up and down and then proceed to watch there TV show. At this stage we walked out and took our business else where.

Great store friendly staff.
Have a great selection of doors.
Prices are all reasonable.

Rubbish experience.
Found a door we like on the website, says to email for a quote, emailed and received no response at all. Called them and they gave us a quote plus they said that clear glass instead of frosted glass would be doable, but we should really make the hour long round trip to the showroom to have a look at it. The doors on the website are numbered but in the store they inexplicably aren't.the one door we were interested in wasn't actually in stock, the price quoted on the phone was less than half what we were then told in person and they actually can't do clear glass for us. The staff member we were dealing with seemed to go missing and none of the other staff seemed very interested in helping us.

I went there first thing as the store opened Saturday morning to enquire about a set of door handles and locks to replace my existing ones.
The older blonde haired lady that served me was loud, abrupt, harsh, making me feel like it was my fault my existing handles and doors were fitted upside down and there was no way in the world their products could replace mine and offered no advice to another solution. I'm no expert in this area and her explanation was so complicated using the terminology I couldn't understand and her frustration with me was very obvious and I felt she wanted me out of the store asap and didn't want to assist me. She made me feel like I had committed a crime. Her customer service skills were appalling, there was no let's put the customer first here and she was just rude humiliating me in front of the other customers.
That was my first and last visit to this store, NEVER to return again!

Rang 3 different days, got 3 different quotes!
When I asked for a confirmation email it took 4 days and a phone call to get an indecipherable sheet of chook scratching. I then attended to view their showroom only to be confronted with disinterested CBF staff in both the door store and their hardware store.
Customer Service…. None here!

Complete lack of accountability. Recently purchased a wider than standard timber door and the bow in it is so bad we cannot use the door. The only response we got back was that it states in their terms and conditions that wide doors may bow and it is not their responsibility. 2-3mm bow in a door is understandable, but this one bows at least 10mm and they could not give a stuff. I have lodged a claim with the ACCC, so hopefully we can get something back.

Long wait on order only for them to continually order in wrong parts even when product number is given with order. No apologies. No attempts at correcting issue. Very poor service.

If you’re looking for any form of assistance or customer service, I strongly recommend going somewhere else. Staff member asked another staff member to assist me multiple times before he reluctantly got off his seat and seemed very disinterested is answering any questions. Despite getting there almost 30 minutes before closing, was rushed out via the staff exit 10 minutes before closing as they had closed all the roller doors to main entrance and cashed out the register already. Honestly I was shocked at my experience in this shop and basically left with nothing but a poor customer experience. If I could leave a 0 star review, I would have

Not even an acknowledgment let alone a hello from two women when I came in to the store, gentleman in there was helpful but the rest of the staff only paid attention when they realised I’d parked my car in the wrong place and asked me to move it. If you can’t be bothered with me then I can’t be bothered spending my $$$$ with you. Plenty of other stores who’ll have my custom gladly.

Arrived at 2: 40pm (closes at 3pm) to find locked shopfront and store phones on voicemail. Hung around to see a staff member smirking at customers lining up out the front. Beware!

Great selection of door hardware. The gentleman that served us was very knowledgeable and we had the required lock sets in hand, in just a few minutes. Thanks for your service. I would highly recommend this shop. Regards, John

Really well presented showroom with an extensive range of doors internal and external. Their advice is first class. They can recommend trades to paint and install too. Adjacent is a comprehensive range of door hardware, handles, lock-up handles, rails, brackets.everything. It saves time and mucking about by going to this business. I think they're great! Friendly too.
Do your measurements well btw. They can adjust to door frame size and double glaze on glass panelled doors.

The store states its business hours on a sat at 8 am to 3 pm on a Saturday i was one of 8 people who were standing outside at 2: 40 staff watched us walking over to the door and proceeded to lock it then said sorry we started to close early well i guess that is 8 sales your not getting

The service was very up and down. Stood around for a long time with no one asking if I needed help. After I did purchase a product I had an issue with, they were great with swapping it over.

Pushed out the door 20 minutes before closing. Two other customers were refused entry at 2.45pm when they advertise being open til 3pm. Overheard sales assistant slagging off customers. They couldn't give a stuff about getting your business. I will go elsewhere as they are not getting my money. Oh and their claim of any door any price is rubbish.

Just wanted to thank the team. I purchased some door hardware 18 months ago and I had an issue with my lock. The amazing team sent me a locksmith free of charge to repair the lock. I was so happy great job guys.
