The Door Store

First the good, it won't take long.
Taking your money upfront is instantaneous.
The quality of the screen door was good and the fitter was quick and efficient.
Now the bad:
1. Service. Terrible. When you do speak to someone they're off-hand and dismissive. When I phoned (twice) for an update when it's a week over expected time not only could I not get answer but told they would get back to me - which they didn't.
2. The door fit itself is really poor. I will caveat this to say my door frame is warped. However, a $970 custom door should fit better than the huge gaps I have.
3. Follow-up Service. Hahaha. The response I got when raising the issue went something like "We only sell doors so this has nothing to do with us as we outsource this to another company - I'll get them to call you". Three follow-up calls trying to get hold of your salesman as it appears no one else can (meaning is vaguely interested), and I'm still waiting.

I’ve always had a great service at the door store that stuff they’re extremely knowledgeable. I’ve been using it for years and will continue doing so.

Worst experience. The customer service is awful. We have found the staff rude, obnoxious and total pigs. Avoid this company like the plague!

Very poor customer service. Have been mislead for trim that I couldn't use at the property and wasted my $150 and time.

5 week lead time for one product, RFQ included panel, hinges and handle, the product did not come with hinges or handle. Trade price is a joke. Then the product doesn't come with a seal. Other suppliers provide bulb or foam seal on timber door frames as standard.

Outstanding customer service!
I had an unusual deadbolt lock and was looking for a replacement. The lady at the service counter went out of her way to help me, which ended up cutting some new keys.
I could not have been more pleased with result.
Highly recommended store!

A variety of doors but expected a bit more, sales people a little bit hard to find day there. It is all set out nice and organized

I found the service I received this morning outstanding.
My door handle/ lock had a broken spring and my nearby security companies advised me that I'd probably need to buy new door hardware (and possibly a new door, as the hardware was 23 years old).
However The Door Store staff were so helpful and professional, replacing the broken spring in minutes.
I would recommend The Door Store and their staff anytime!

I had inadvertently supplied a wrong size for manufacture. The problem was resolved with cleverness and speed. The Door Store could not have been more helpful.

Extremely helpful. We had a number of older handles needing new screws or replacement. They solved our problems quickly and efficiently. Much better experience than other stores.

Asked for a price on a door and got told off and told that it can take up to 5 weeks to get a door. I didn't ask time so I just figure they don't won't my business. Silly I repair 5 doors a week there loss.

Oddly enough I was in the door market when I came across TDS, initially wandered through the showroom to get some inspiration. Thoughts were positive, no pushy sales tactics, roamed the warehouse freely and explored. Spoke to Pete who gave me a rough quote no questions asked, pricing was very reasonable for a custom door and frame so I decided to commit to the project.

Visited the team this weekend with my design and measurements, which made Alex's life much easier. He committed to the same price quote, paid my deposit and am steps closer to our new entrance door. Doing the leg work yourself is going save you big time $$

If we could give zero for customer service we would. Who doesn’t want business? Rude people, snarky and straight up insulting. The workers were arguing in front of us over who should have to serve us. Honestly, everyone deserves better than this, buy from people who care. I must add that Rahul is the only professional person on site. Staff should learn from him.

The staff at the door store could not be more helpful- especially Bianca & Jason. So efficient and friendly. A real credit to the company.

Excellent and prompt service after needing a new privacy latch for one of our doors. Leanne was fantastic and had the new part within 48hrs after I just sent in a photo of the damaged one.

Came in looking for a new door handle. Was served by a woman named Stef. Girl deserves a raise. Helped my find the exact style of hardware that I was looking for. Was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable and answered every question I had. Customer service is not dead. Thank you for a pleasant shopping experience I have not seen this in a while.
