The Dojo Ramen Bar

I am by no means a ramen connoisseur but this place is great when craving a warm bowl of delicious broth and noodles. Veggie shoyu with added egg is a winner! Really like that they have more than one option for us vegetarians. My partner didn't leave much leftover from the normal Shoyu.must have been good! Service is friendly and were able to walk in on Saturday night and secure a table.
Will definitely be back!

Some of the worst food i have eaten our in a long time / if not ever.
The vege gyoza were store bought from coles, obviously frozen as they were mushy too. The ramen was lukewarm and had a very odd taste to it.
We didn't even finish our meal, left hungry, and went somewhere else.
Don't let the good reviews fool you!

Pork Gyoza - Delicious little pockets of flavour. Standard, good quality gyoza that you’d expect from a place like this.

Chilli Miso Ramen - I was worried this would be too spicy but after speaking to the really helpful staff, they reassured me it wasn’t bad at all and they were right. It was a very subtle hint of spice which for my sensitive tastebuds was perfect. Flavourful broth, pork was nice and tender and there was a sufficient amount of it. Overall a great bowl of ramen and I’d have it again!

Staff are very knowledgeable and accommodating to any dietary needs you have. A solid spot for ramen in the area.

Fantastic place with delicious food and plenty of options too. Staff are super friendly and the decor of the place is very Japanese.

It's a pity that the name of the shop is in Japanese.

I literally loved the food. Quality food that makes your tastebuds work extra. Ramune drink tasted exactly like Uludağ Turkish drink. Ramen was delicious. I will definitely go there again.

Ramen, so amazingly tasty. Please don't go and try this fantastic food, if you do you'll be wondering why did I eat this food. You won't be feeling crazily good after you eat this food, you'll be feeling amazing!

3.5 out of 5. Good without being great. Second visit to Dojo. Tan tan men was a nice ramen. Chilli miso was ok. Gyoza had a slightly odd taste but still decent. Service was efficient and everything came out quickly. It is a bit more a cooler Northcote vibe than just an authentic great ramen place. Better pure ramen places in the CBD but convenient location.

The best of the best Ramen in town! Delicious fresh bowls of ramen. Wonderful service down to earth staff. Support local especially over lockdown.

Been going here for about 5 years now, Friendly staff and good ambiance. Vegie Ramen here is the best we ever had. Deserts and sides are amazing too.overall good experience that we keep comming back to.

I loved eating in, really delicious Ramen!

I was disappointed with the takeaway however, we tried it a few times as eating in was so good. Each time we were disappointed, food was cold or just disappointing.

Will eat in again, just not takeaway.

Ramen was the best I’ve had here in Melbourne, definitely a sweet spot to try out in the North. Japanese fried chicken is so good as well. Would recommend going there for Sunday lunch

Food was good, but service is a real down, getting orders wrong, 30min+ wait for a simple dish like ramen on a not so busy day, everyone’s meal coming out at different times and to top it off, they forgot one persons. Can’t really enjoy the meal after that bad a service even if it wasn’t half bad

Delicious! The ramen here is delicious and it’s not expensive at all. Great atmosphere with an epic dragon and samurai mural.

Heart warming broth, and delicious egg in the ramen! The noodles were a bit thin and chewy and the shoyo broth was a bit thick and dark, but it was still incredibly tasty. Would reccomend

Was here for a birthday celebration - staff was friendly and polite despite us being half an hour late for our reservation. Menu was great as it has a good selection of vegetarian dishes which our friends enjoyed. Special mention of their karaage chicken which was juicy, tender and crispy all at the same time! If you have a chance, get a table at the beer garden - much more spacious and brighter at the back with a free arcade machine to play with (who doesn't love arcade machines!? !)

Great staff and great Ramen. Eaten here a few times and yet to be let down. The Tan Yan Men is amazing. Staff are great!
