In the heart of Ferntree gully the crispy catch fish and chips is under NEW management and not only the service is great, but the food is amazing now too! Highly recommend!

Top quality ingredients, everything tastes fresh and the flavours are well thought out. Love the delicious Chicken Souvlaki with Cheesy Crispy Chips and such a fresh greek salad on the side, best I've tasted ever.

Staff were really friendly and attentive. Relaxing, friendly fish and chips at ferntree gully rd offers you pleasant vibes. Yummy veggie burger too ️

I must say the staff are very friendly and provide great service. They have healthy options including for vegetarians and the food tastes yummm, we loved the $10 daily special offer that's running at the moment, good time to give it a try:)

Best fish and chips we’ve had a long time. We gave up on crispy catch a few months ago, it must of changed management.

Grilled fish was nicely seasoned! Very impressed.

They are too slow. If you go to Woolworths next door buy fish go home and cook you may have your food sooner than these guys.

Fried barramundi was huge and good. Chips average. Took a while. "South Melbourne dim sim" too salty

Best fish and chips experience in the East bar none. I took one bite and immediately thought "Ahhh.now that's how it's supposed to be done". Get on it.

Waited ages for overcooked bland food. Totally expensive prices for such POOR QUALITY food. Very disappointing.

This is a pretty standard fish and chip shop on par with everything else in the area, does nothing amazing but also nothing badly

25 minutes for a sausage in batter. Two blokes out back doing nothibg at all. Only customer here.

Well, I had reviewed all these past ratings and hoped I was going to receive a good experience. That was not the case unfortunately. I have to say that the food handling skills was a bit woeful and at this point I should have run out the door but alas that was witnessed after our order. Liquid from each fish container was dripping into other containers so if you don’t like your calamari flavoured <insert name of preferred fillet here> then I advise you to go elsewhere. I wish I had. Ironically today I find myself making a hastily charge to the lavatories on a regular basis.

Oh and when I order whiting I expect to get it. What is it with Victorian fish shops that purport to swindle you from whiting? South Australians are born and bred on the stuff so don’t ever try to tell me shark is whiting. You are committing a crime against humanity!

On a positive note, the chips were nice. That’s it though. Oh, and the soft drink.

You the consumer can do better.
