The Cosmopolitan Hotel

Beautiful pub, great atmosphere unfortunately like many pubs the food was made offsite eg.burger, such a shame but the staff took the feedback very well, will be back to see if it improves

Great pub located on country road.
Friendly staff throughout the entire venue!
Great meals, good foods, awesome people and perfect music with traditional interior.
Also some arrangements of seating in the outside as well in garden.service is short and sharp usually having to only wait a short time before being blown away with good presentation and awesome taste!

Good vegan options! The vegan cheese on the pizzas was great (good texture and subtle flavour). We got takeaway and both the pizzas and chips were delicious:)

Great way to spend a cold winter day with open fire, great service and yummy food. I had the Salmon with amazing salad delicious.

Anzac weekend popped in on the Friday night about 8pm place was busy, the staff found us a nice spot on a longer in front of the fire said a table would be 30 minutes or so,
After about 40 minutes they came back said the table was still 10 minutes away and gave us menus so we could order without rushing
Food offerings wasn't quite what I wanted, but I asked if I could combine 2 entrees into 1 main which they were happy to do, husband ordered Wagyu burger between mouthfuls he said it was great.
We were seated in the wine room which was quaint and quiet,
A very nice first visit from new residents to fern hill, we will certainly return

A big venue with lots to offer. Good food and a big outdoor garden with lots of area for kids to run around. They also offer a medium selection of wines for take away which is a plus when everything else in town closes by 6pm. Well worth the stop.

Thank you Fiona, you saved our day. I'm in Lancefield and my Melbourne friends really wanted a nice meal and a drive to the Ranges. You went above and beyond to make a table happen. The meal and ambience was terrific. Your wine recommendation spot on also. Thank you to Amber and Jade for great service all afternoon.

I was there, great experience, with great friends, great Wine, great Food, Blessed Again, Gotta Love County Victoria.

Got yelled at as we walked through the door by the bar person. No time to think before being quizzed about what we were there for i.e food/drink. G&T arrived with an ant in it, hopefully fell out of a tree rather than other possibilities. Waitress very obliging and replaced the drink.

The food was quite disappointing and did not deliver the expectation. When you order a "Wagu Burger" and it come with kraft cheese singles fresh from the wrapper, you start questioning the quality of the dining experience. We'll look elsewhere next time

Great food and very nice vibe.
There was some misunderstanding on our orders but the guy (who seemed to be a manager) managed the situation so perfectly. Apologised and made us feel very comfortable the fact we were not upset at all. Thanks to them and will be back for sure.

Had lunch there just today with the 3 of us, absolutely fabulous, nothing less. Pork belly, equally best I've had, one person had fish and chips, fantastic. Service was great, rear garden is best I've had a meal in, be back for sure.

Great place for a good old fashioned meal. Great service and food. Always good value. A must visit at Trentham.

Table service awesome. Very friendly and accommodating.
Only regret was steak not cooked to requested medium rare.
Would definitely come back and recommend to friends

A frontrunner for my favourite pub ever. Awesome historic hotel. Fantastic garden bar under the trees. Great friendly service.

Enjoyed a couple of icy cold beers and Chardonnay’s over a bowl of delicious fat chips in beer garden heaven on Sunday afternoon.

Amazing food, drink list, service. Great building and atmosphere. You could tell the boss really looked after the staff and there was a good relationship there which meant a lot to me and I'd highly recommend the Cosmopolitan to everyone. Cheers

Great day went in April. Didn’t know it was much bigger in the back. Nice scenery and food was decent.
