The Clayton Hotel

I've just moved to Clayton. It's only by chance I got to dine this awesome joint. Fantastic staff Ms Swathi.she's exceptional. Kudos to her and team.

Had organised two functions at The Clayton Hotel with Dinishi. She has been such a pleasure to work with, from organising through to communication. The staff are amazing and very friendly. The function space itself is incredible especially for the price. I would highly recommend you hiring the space for your future events.

Pound for pound the best pub in the SE suburbs. Happy hour is elite, food is consistently good, numerous screens with live sport, public transport nearby.

Leanne has exceptional customer service, her warm welcoming service is the best you would come across. Very kind with the kids & made our little family outing more enjoyable. Absolutely mouthwatering Arancinis, kids meal options are delicious, amazing value and good quantity. Even the chips were smoking hot delicious with the. Relaxing outdoor space & very well maintained toilets. The list goes on… Definitely going back!

I have been coming here for 6 years now. The southern chicken burger is a must (get it with mushroom gravy on the side and crack coarse black pepper into the gravy, you won't be disappointed).

My brother and I had lunch here. Has a sport area, pokies, bar and restaurant in the one place. The staff extremely friendly. The food were massive portions and very tasty. They have an outside area. Very close to public transport and on the main road of Clayton. Highly recommend.

Very friendly and professional service. My flathead fillets were delicious. The barely there crisp batter over succulent tender fillets. Large chips, tartare sauce and tasty salad accompaniment.

Today I had the Linguini De Mare. Selection of local seafood; mussels, calamari and prawns, in a white wine and cream sauce. Delicious.
My partner had the Chicken Schnitzel, home made to order on the premises. Not reheated frozen dried out chicken. Very tender and lightly crumbed. Perfect.

Great food, hot and fresh and generous servings - Parmas are legit and one of the best I’ve ever had. The waitress with the blond hair is always super friendly and does a wonderful job making sure everyone is looked after. You’d be hard pressed to find a better counter meal in the south east.

The food here is lovely but what is really outstanding is the service. Chris, Samith and Felicity all go out of their way to help. I support people with disabilities to come here often and they are the best! Only improvement is that it would be great if they had a dog friendly area

My food was overcooked fish dry, salad had a very unusual dressing.was pretty inside. Not much else was.

Nice place for happy hour, the atmosphere is so nice. Really friendly staff. The food is fantastic, especially the chef's special of the day.

Just stopped there randomly for lunch yesterday and not only the staff was very friendly and prompt, but the lunch special was amazing! Exceeded my expectations. A good steak (and perfectly cooked medium rare as requested), chips and salad for $20 is rare these days! Highly recommend and if I'm ever in the area again will return without a doubt. Thank you Clayton Hotel.

Friendly, professional staff & decently sized portions of tasty food - based on Sun, Mon, Tue & Wed night bistro meals.

One of the biggest local pubs in the area. Nice atmosphere, with sports room and pokies section.

Good food and the staff are so fun, great atmosphere too (to he fair we were in a group of about 8+)

Very disappointing experience trying to book a function. I can't comment on the quality of the food or staff as we never had a chance to experience it.
I'll happily change the rating if we ever have any positive outcomes while dealing with Clayton Hotel.

Was at the Clayton Hotel tonight and very disappointed to see a staff member verbally abused and the manager Chris do nothing to support his staff or discourage harassment. Disgusting to watch a young woman be treated this way by customers and manager.
