The Bottle-O - Greensborough Hotel

I had dinner on Friday, it was delicious, Staff were very friendly and Milan made my evening wonderful.

The Greensborough Hotel is one of two pubs in the area, the other being the RSL. The bottle shop is fantastic and the drive through super convenient. The Bistro however is another story, the service staff are pleasant and helpful enough, the food was a let down on the occasion we went, ordered a medium rare porterhouse steak and risotto, the steak was well truly under done, I'll let you be the judge and the risotto was pedestrian at best. Still I would give the Bistro another shot in the future. I do find it odd that chips are served in a cardboard cup on the plate, just do away with it chef.

Great place to celebrate an event. Great service and food was great. Looking forward to going back to The Greensborough Hotel.

On older classic pub. Great pub to start kick-offs. Definitely keen to try the bistro upstairs. There was more in the bistro than the bar areas.

Not overly impressed with the service. Transaction stuff up and not getting our dessert as part of the Christmas meal. I was mad to feel infearier by the manager and was told we need to pay for the desserts that we didn't get.
Most likely the manager will rebut this review.
Besides that the actual meals we had were nice. But won't be coming back again and will be letting my friends and family know not to come back as well.

Just popped in to the bottom bar for a drink, bar person lacked focus and seemed inexperienced. Lacked a nice feel.

Well tonight Big Boy & The Lady went to Greensborough Hotel for dinner. Well this was seriously dangerous “Why You Ask” it was truly amazing meal. We both had the steak mignon the Chef out did himself perfection you want the Best for get the Rest treat yourself that all l can truly say. Staff spot on and make you feel special. Thanks to all

Arrived for dinner, 6 pax ordered chicken parmigiana, absolutely disappointed, chicken was small, soggy, dry, cheese way to thick, lack of tasteless sauce, and just barley melted, oilily and extremely unpleasant. Chips not great, salad just a waste of time. Steak was average at best with pepper sauce what can only be described as gravox with peppercorn. Garlic bread was dry, with hardly any flavour with no strong garlic butter just a few bits of parsley. Meat balls and spaghetti was OK. If its busy things happen and I understand but there is just no care, no pride, and a head chef who is either RDO or has just given up. And FOH staff who's obviously couldnt care less, no check backs, management needs to step up.
Do better!
People are paying for a product and you are not meeting the lowest of standards. Do better. Be better. I would be ashamed if my chefs served food how we received it.

Since. By far the best place in Greensborough for food and a relaxing night.
Food servings are huge, highest of quality and staff are all really nice. You can see they are aiming high with everyone and they certainly deliver an excellent bistro alround.
Definitely give them a go.

Strange vibe. Staff weren’t friendly and the first thing the barman said when I walked in was “turn your hat backwards! ”

Super friendly and accomodating for our small group of gamers. Topped off by a special vegan menu made for a great night. Thank you. We’ll be back

Had a great meal. Good selection on the Seniors menu. Fried fish with chips and salad really fresh and excellent batter. Good wine selection.

Food was Great, service good even though it was very busy. Can recommend the grilled seafood platter.

Had dinner there last night with a large group of friends (Wed 11/01/23) and was disgusted to find a piece of plastic from a container in my Coconut Pumpkin Curry. No-one seemed to care too much. My meal was replaced with a skimpy replacement of the original, of which I hadn't even eaten a quarter of. No offer of a complimentary glass of wine, cup of tea or coffee, or even a refund. I was so disappointed as I have previously been very happy with the food and service at Greensborough Hotel.
