The Avoca Hotel reviews
49A superb country pub. Meals were not your standard, a step above I think. It was great that they were serving wine and beers from the region. Prices reasonable value.
We recently visited Avoca on the way to the Grampians We were amazed at the quality of the COVID takeaway dinner. As good as I have eaten in a good restaurant. Highly recommend
We had the pork belly and the Asian beef.
Thanks guys.
Truely terrific hotel with friendly hard working owners and staff who are passionate about food, wine and beer. The tap beers are thoughtful and enable you to sample some amazing craft brews from around the world. The lunch food was fresh and delicious with a great range of choice. Dishes are suitable for sharing.
Ate the best gourmet food in a long time. Ian a great guy. Staff friendly. Terrific atmosphere. Compliments to chef.
Simply could not have been served a better porterhouse steak, cooked perfectly. Do yourself a favour and stop past for a feed as you will be glad that you did.
Love the Avoca Hotel. Excellent food, service and the drinks list, especially their selection of gins, rivals any decent bar in Melbourne.
Love this hotel, great people, great vibe, great place to catch up with friends & the food is fantastic
This is the fine dining option in Avoca. They have eight beers on tap and a large wine selection. Wednesday night in winter is curry night for $15. Highly recommend
I do not recommend this place. The woman serving us that night was very rude. We ordered garlic bread which was served to someone else and only relised when we enquired about our meal 3/4 of an hour waiting, enjoying a drink. Nil apology and when we did get our garlic bread it was thrown onto the table at us with out serviettes and eye contact. We ordered a seafood platter to share and on requesting an extra fork n serviettes was told if we wanted an extra plate, which we didnt, it would cost us an extra $6. Travelling around Australia this place goes down as being the worst in our country for manners.
