Guava beer, raspberry beer, saison with a spot of apricot.and the Eza burger (jalapeño, avo, Swiss cheese etc) was about as perfect a burger as you're likely to find anywhere! Nice one Avoca - keep it up!

Ian offered a different beer for me drink, I wasn't sure at the start but after sips, I really enjoyed the beer.

Supurb gourmet cuisine and great service and atmosphere. Not your normal pub food. This is a "must visit" pub restaurant.

It's ok. Didn't get the warmest of welcomes when I asked about their range of tap beers. Told me I had to go to the front bar and read the board! That's enthusiasm for your product. Food was ok. Small serves. Place is dark inside, but as it was winter we couldn't sit outside.

Pathetic food to say the least and anyone who says it's good, has absolutely no idea of what good food tastes like. Lol, the publican thinks he's cool to but was very arrogant and rude.

He even told customers to go across the road for coffees after their lunch because he was to busy to make them.

Literally 3 minutes later he turned on the machine and made himself a coffee.

Best bet is to go and buy a pie across the road and stay well clear.

Cosy, homely pub with friendly owners who have great taste in music. Delicious food and drink too!

Highly recommend the “Bang Bang Cauliflower” - best popcorn cauliflower I’ve had (and it’s vegetarian, vegan and gluten free so suits everyone!)

For those who do not know, all the menu items are shared between your group, such as the porterhouse will be served on a plate to share. It's uniquely different, but it works.
The price was right for the food delivered and it's not just the average pub meal, it is very high quality food and the taste blew me away!

One of the regional gems of the pyrenees, great food, friendly staff, great bar food or small plates out the rear that are delicious. Great wine list with regional and non regional wines. The manager is very friendly and accommodating, this is one of main regular destinations.

I highly recommend this establishment for a meal! The steak was tender and flavorful. They ran out of chips (we ate on the Friday of a long weekend) but made fried potato which was a lovely substitute. Service was friendly and timely, and we enjoyed sitting outside in the balmy evening weather.

Absolutely amazing share plate menu in the dining room. Duck dumplings, veal meatballs, crab tostidas, seared tuna, venison and chicken.
Delicious desserts and local wines made for a superb evening.

Always a pleasure to eat their delicious and beautifully presented meals at the Avoca. Also the drinks selection is outstanding!

What an awesome lunch. Perfect parmy's, crisp fish and chips. The specials sound so good Ill be back for dinner.

Amazing staff who are happy to accommodate for any dietary requirements. Great food (the curry is quite warm, not for beginners to the heat) and the desserts are definitely worth getting. Reasonable prices for the pub size portions (large food portions).

Ignore all the one star gripes on here, which sound spiteful or seem like the occasional hiccup that such an establishment might have. This hotel is the jewel in Avoca's crown. Go there and just enjoy.

Great food, friendly service most welcoming of us and iur dog. Bought our food outside, water was available for the dog and blankets for us as was a cold and rainy evening. Highly recommend

Enjoyed the lunch. We bought chicken parmi and kids nugget & chip. The food was amazing. I also tried cocktail, Gin no name. The cocktail was great as well. Totally worth a drive for this wonderful food, drinks and friendliness of owners.

Visited with a group of 8 on a winery tour, and it was exceptional. Great menu - half of us had the slow cooked beef pie (amazing), Great list of drinks including local wines, and beers. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting town.
