54 10% Covid Charge?
Really?
On a $900 group bill - our table paid $90 in an additional fee
I would have thought hospitality would be welcoming not penalising.
Food was good, service was sub par.
Very expensive for the size of the meals very noisy.
We where a table of 10 including 1 child. There is no children's meals and where not accommodating when we ask could we just have some chicken in batter the answer was no or what have you for a child? Just what is on the menu. Also when we ordered the same dishes it all comes on one plate and you have to divide it yourself. Wouldn't go again.
I celebrated my birthday at the Albert Park Hotel and had a great time. However due to the number of guests (14) we all had to order the banquet which cost 75 per person.we were all disappointed by the portions which were tiny. I barely had any fish and veggies.
The food was great though and the staff really nice.
Dropped in here the other day for a late lunch and a catch up with an old mate. Its been recently renovated and is looking very funky with lots of space. The menu is heavily Asian influenced and the snacks we chose were certainly tasty. I'm sure it will get quite busy but a great place to meet up for drinks and food.
Mixed feelings. Would like to rate it higher, as the oysters were beautiful, the raw fish entree was delicious and firm, and the dumplings were perfect. Unfortunately the Wagyu beef with pepper and honey sauce was delicious, but cut into thick 4cm chunks which were too tough and chewy to enjoy, and the service was spotty.we sat with our entrées in front of us waiting for our bottle of wine before we could start to eat. And please, put the wine in a cooler at the table so I can pour my own instead of waiting for attention. And then there is the matter of the EFTpos card surcharge, which amounted to $4 on our bill. Ridiculous. We were happy to spend $200 on our lunch, why insult us for using a bank card to pay.
We had a wonderful experience here on the weekend for my daughter’s first birthday! They accommodated a party of 50 with 2 days notice as we changed our plans from a park party due to the weather. They were so accomodating right from the booking, set up and service. Wonderful staff that make you feel as though nothing is too much trouble. Decor in the pub is so warm and beautiful. I’d highly recommend this place. We’re very lucky that it’s our local.
AUTHENTIC fine Chinese dining experience. The food was delicious. I cannot believe how legit the roast duck and char Sao pao was. It was SO FLUFFY. I will be back, again and again and again and again.
Food is really good. Service staff and floor staff for food are very good.
Prices for drinks reflect the delay in opening for 4+ years and bring gouging.to an artform.
Bar service is pathetic measured by the time you wait to be served by mostly inexlerienced bar staff.
I have never seen so much wastage of beer in 40 years of drinking and/or working in pubs. Obviously training of barstaff or recruitment of barstaff is not a high priority.
This is really only a pub with good food. The atmosphere may improve when the plastic people who think it is the place to be seen get bored when no-one gives a rats about them. In fact, while writing this I have just marked it down to 2.5 stars.
The yum cha here is some of the best I've ever had. Fast service, good range of beers. The new outdoor spaces are great.
Pleasantly surprised with an Asian infused menu! Servicing size a little light but amazing taste. Peking duck pancakes was the standout.
The food is incredible. Great fitout, quite unique. Cocktails were a bit slow, but teething issues perhaps. Still recommend it, go!
Great food and an amazing wine list. If you can, head straight up to the bar on the first level.
First time visitors for a family dinner. The food was absolutely amazing with a selection that catered for diverse tastes. The atmosphere was warm, the new design so inviting and the staff were first class. This is a destination you must save in your favourites. We’ll be back.
