57Fries were dry and over fried. Ordered food for the family and requested for some tomato ketchup and was told that even that will cost money. Really disgusted. Don’t think will ever be back.
Food tasted good and service was good. However, I had a gift card and thankfully it was accepted. However it did say "At selected stores only" so to avoid disappointment I rang the Eastland number last week but it sounded like the call was sent offshore and I was not called back, twice. That is unacceptable. Also, a gift card should not be limited to some stores which just causes confusion, it should be for ALL stores in Australia. Apart from that I found the food overpriced. $30 for a plate of pasta who on earth can afford that for lunch? $15 for the Fetta Brushetta salad which comprised of 3 minute pieces of bread, few cherry tomatoes, an ok slice of Fetta, but again overpriced for the size of that. I would not come back unless someone else is paying my bill. Also, not happy you have halal only meat, this is not an Islamic country and never will be! Why are you kowtowing to minority groups? And why is there no non halal option for the vast majority of your customers who are not Muslims?
Defiantly one of the better TGI's I have been too.
Food was good. My stake came out as request medium rare.
Only thing is the service wasn't the best once your seated they tend to forget about you.
Not sure if it's this new qr code ordering system or just staff being lazy.
But I felt once we were at our table no one could be bother to check on us
I keep going back to TGI's once or twice a year for the nostalgia of when it was in it's prime - free refills on cherry or vanilla coke and sesame jack strips, but I find it so frustrating to waste almost $100 for dinner and dessert on 2 people when the food is inedible. The staff were lovely, and the food came quickly but the quality is just a joke, and it's such a shame because it could be such a good place to go out with friends or family if the food was decent, even without the free refills or the sesame jack strips.
Well this was the 2nd bad experience I’ve had in this place.
First time I took my visiting American family there a few months ago, staff took our order and after waiting for over 30mins turns out the order wasn’t placed or forgotten or lost and had to reorder the whole thing. It was embarrassing having to pay a few hundred dollars after that. The apology was complimentary.
Went back yesterday for my daughter’s 12th bday dinner with some of her friends. I arrived earlier for happy hour and the complimentary twists for members, I planned to use the app this time to avoid the same problem and asked a staff member for help. My order never came. As it wasn’t placed properly through the app. Once I figured it out on my own, I placed the order almost 45 mins later so I missed out on happy hour and we were told then that we needed to leave by a certain time because the table was booked for another seating. Food came relatively fast but at different times so some girls were waiting for their food. The staff were polite and lovely, but clearly not knowledgeable enough or assertive to ensure a good experience.
I’ve been to other TGIFs like Chadstone and Forest Hill and yes the food is overpriced for the quality but I think most are prepared for that as it’s the experience and ambience that we seek, but I won’t be returning to Eastland. So off putting.
Lachie and daisy are the best bar tenders going around and the rest of the staff are the best people in the world!
Ordered beers, waited 20+ minutes for them to arrive. Walked out before the drinks were even poured. Very un-happy hour.
My little girl and me decided to try TGI Friday's yesterday, we are so glad we did. From the moment I stepped in the restaurant I felt the good vibes, the team are so very friendly and accommodating. A shout out to our waitresses Tamsyn and Shannon who made our night. Very attentive and friendly service. Thanks again. We'll be back when we are in the area. 10/10
Food was great, service was something else.
Over all a great experience and will definitely re book again. Note you must try the Jack Daniels sauce on the Ribs.
Daisy was such an amazing bar tender, I had such a fun night out with my friend! I wouldn't have thought of going to TGIFridays for drinks, but ended up there and would come back because of the great service!
A group of us were served by Emri who was absolutely fantastic - they clearly communicated and clarified every aspect of our dining experience, including the order we placed. She made visiting TGIF a safe experience by ensuring everyone was vaccinated by verifying their status via the appropriate app (it mustn’t be easy having to do this on top of regular duties). I appreciated her thoroughness plus their Bob Ross outfit for Halloween was an absolute winner. 5 stars for Emri and the cool Halloween-themed cocktail I enjoyed!
These amazing people Jessie and Lachie and Caitlyn. Absolutely amazing service. Cannot fault service and they are amazing. Will certainly be back to see them.
Made our night amazing
Pretty disappointed with how things have panned out this evening. We used TGI Friday's website to order online for delivery and after completing the transaction, it estimated delivery would be around 6: 41pm. It is now 7: 24pm and we called TGI Friday's Eastland number, only for it to be answered by a staff member who was not even at the restaurant and can only assume was working from home! To make matters worse, she could not even tell us where our order was at or whether it had been picked up! Very, very poor service from her and very, very poor service from TGI Friday's Eastland in general!
Had an awesome experience ordering from TGI Friday’s Eastland store. Georgia in particular provided excellent customer service and made the experience a whole lot better.
We were at the carousel branch for dinner tonight…. There was a long wait on food we were told… the chefs looked under the pump so understandable. When we got our food it was great. Worth the wait. The manageress amilia gave us some free drinks to say sorry which was nice… customer service wasn’t at fault just maybe some extra TLC in the chef department…
The service was superb! Called up with a number of questions about the menu and Georgia was more than happy to assist me. The drinks were amazing!
My favourite TGI's restaurant! I've eaten here many times and have always been greeted and attended to in a positive manner. The staff have great attitudes, and the venue manager on the floor, Georgia, was so helpful and great to have a chat to!
The drinks are yummy, refreshing and always a decent size. I ordered drinks for delivery and they came cleanly sealed so no drinks were spilled, with the inclusion of straws - and came before the estimated time of delivery!
I'm a big fan of this TGI's and will be returning. No faults here.
Overall experience with good. Staff are friendly and helpful.
The sirloin steak was a good cut and cooked well but the sauce taste and overall flavour was lacking.
Fridays ultimate trademark burger had a crisp refresh taste but again lacking in overall flavour.
Not much to mention about the shoestring fries (not so good).
We ordered from TGI FRIDAYS Eastland on uber. These guys didn't send 2 of our orders.and the bag wasn't SEALED.and when we called them, they didn't want to send us it back, instead they asked us to fill up on the uber app, and they will refund the money, but money isn't refunded yet.you guys ruined our anniversary.lockdown is a frustration and top of it you guys mixing up the items in the order is very disappointing. I have been a fan of TGI Fridays, however the quality of food and service of the Eastland branch has been going downhill recently. Staff doesn't seem too keen to work and seem very busy even during quite hours and hence everything takes a looking time.
The food doesn't seem to have the same taste or care. All while we pay a premium.
