Excellent food and service. From the moment we were seated Eric the manager gave us a warm welcome. He was very kind and polite to us. I definitely recommend this place

The service is excellent and the bar staff and management are so friendly and accommodating. It's a real pleasure to drink champagne and cocktails there around the bar.

The food is lovely, American and of good quality.

I feel just so at home here.

P. S. Suggestions; Sangria, S/M/L Nachos (size options) something prawn and Corona Buckets.

We had a great experience at TGIF Melbourne Central, Dimithri was our server - he was very friendly and responsive. Would definitely come back!

My partner and I stopped at this restaurant to grab a drink and dessert after a busy day of shopping. My visits to TGIF before this were quite pleasant but I was met with the most obscure and strange experience at this specific location.

As we were unable to locate the deserts on the menu provided I asked the server if they "sold desserts" but I think the server may have misunderstood me and said "Drugs.uh no we only have alcohol".

Confused by this exchange my partner and I said we'd like some more time to decide on our order. We were then overlooked by staff which I can only assume was due to them thinking we had already ordered.

An is so friendly and helpful, foods are always great, will come back again soon, thank you so much.

Dimithri gave us amazing customer service! He checked in multiple times to make sure everything was okay and we didn’t need anything.he even talked us into dessert which was amazing

Absolutely amazing meals and service, advised the manager I had a concern about a bottled drink which they replaced immediately and apologised and then returned later to check up if everything was okay even though they’re not at fault. Customer service makes you feel very welcome, the Jack Daniels sauce on the perfectly made and cooked burger was just what I was after.

The first TGIF in Melbourne. Awesome location with a great balcony overlooking the Victorian State Library. Great service and good American food.

We were here on Sunday mother's day. The place is clean, very convenient in the cbd, professional staff, yummy food. We tried to sit outside but it was full with the only table available under the sun so we decided to have lunch inside. We ordered 2 ceaser salad with grilled chicken and some kid's chicken stuff (they loved it). Additionally we ordered the popular potato wedges. The amount was enough and we liked the meals

If there was a half star I would rate it 2.5 stars. Had the mexican burger with fries. Fries were over cooked and dry, meat in the burger overcooked and dry and the bacon tasted the like it was pre cooked then reheated when needed. This set me back $26.
Oh well, lesson learned.

THE WORST TGI FRIDAY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO. Ordered beef ribs and a salad. Waited for 1 HOUR. And then they told us that the salad is about ready but the ribs were just starting to be cooked! The most ridiculous dining experience I've ever had. Wait. Oh thats right we havent even dine yet bcs they didnt give us our food.

I gave them another chance. Being in n such a prime you would think they would have even a little focus on their service. Last time they totally forgot our order. This time the food wasn't fresh. It took us 15 minutes to get a server's attention. Then they changed the food. The food quality was so poor. Gave me and my husband a stomachache!

Food was very disappointing, no flavour, would not return.
Have been to TGIF in Norway and KL and it was an amazing experience, tried Melbourne central because of that experience but not impressed at all.

So disappointed in the food gone down so bad ill never go back there listening to the bartenders making sly comments about customers and swearing behind the bar when my 4 year old son the sitting next to the bar at the table absolutely disgrace I give it a minus 5 star rating if I could stay away care of Melbourne Central TGI Friday's. Just make sure u stay clear from here used to be one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne to eat

and chips were obviously so old
Drinks were flat and the staff did not even care to give us straws
Poor general hygiene Its sticky everywhere and the cutleries had food bits all over

I went here with my wife 1st time last week & was a bit disappointed! Decor service atmosphere is good but music a bit loud but no. 1 gripe is with food prices. All prices are on the higher end & food portions are not as big. Also we had the sliders which are nice but no sauce inside? What gives? My wife doesnt want to come back but im happy to give it another go.happy eating to all.

Wow this place is a complete avoid! Can’t believe how bad the service was - they must specially train their staff to provide such a bad customer experience, it was almost comical how bad it was.

Disgraceful. It wasnt busy at all and they still could not get a steak ready in 45 minutes. Lunch break was over had to leave early. Waiter messed up multiple orders, came by with coke when they were asked for water. List goes on, do not eat here you will be annoyed and disappointing. Needs to be closed down and replaced with a place that actually tries.

A desaster: okay it was school holidays, but the restaurant wasn't even half way full. It took about 10 min until they took our order and then another 30min until we got a simple meal. Every one seemed stressed.
We had Groupon vouchers, but the would not accept them because of the fine print. So if any one on your table is having a special offer, no one is allowed to use a voucher!?
My onion rings tasted very fishy, probably fried together with my friends fish?
