T'Gallant Cellar Door reviews
59We stopped just to kill half an hour before Sundy lunch. Decided to do a tasting and was hosted by Kim. We've been to a lot of winery's but none have ever been so taylormade. His banter, knowledge of the wine and area watch immaculate, safe to say we decided to join the T'Gallant club for more delicious wine. We will be recommending friends and family to this great place!
+ Nice atmosphere and scenery.
- Poor quality of food. Very sweet pizza dough. Not must topping on pizza. Sides of pizza burned black.
Stopped by to try the wine tasting so cant speak for the food. The lady serving us was incredibly friendly and we trusted her to selected up to seven of their wines from a list of more than twenty. Most of their wines were very nice but not as nice as Red Hill which we had visited before hand. Really enjoyed their Vintage Moscato dessert wine, which I bought two of. Would recommend if you're on a wine tasting tour in the area.
Tasty beer and wine, pizza is delicious too! The view is nice outside from winery! The staff is very welcoming and easy talk to!
Stopped in for a pizza and glass of wine. Had a nice Pinot noir and decided to share a full size Funghi pizza for $34. So disappointing. Really tasteless and base was supermarket quality. Was supposed to have Gorgonzola on it but very little to be found. A pity, as the location is quite lovely. I think they need to get an Italian Chef I to show them how to make pizza.
I can't comment much on the wines but the food was fantastic. Nice and relaxed outside seating in the sun, although they were shared benches so it can be a little awkward if you are going there as a couple (at least with the outside seats). I'm mainly rating this 5 because of the fantastic food and really accommodating and friendly staff. They had time for a fun conversation, and shouted us some dessert as one of us on the table had a birthday. Friendly service goes a long way these days so thanks:)
BEWARE do not purchase any deal vouchers, they have very limited options for weekends and try to force you to go mid week, You can only book on line and I tried for a Sat and Sun booking for any weekend for a two month period - no luck and zero care factor by management when I called them to complain.
Came on a sunday afternoon, beautiful music plays in the background while we eat a delicious pizza and drinking wine!
Nice set-up. A hint of seriousness to the pizzas and nice classic Oz rustic setting. Would go back but not sure it's essential eating in MP (at least now.perhaps different in years gone by).
Lovely cellar door! We visited mid week and tried a variety of wines. The staff member was happy to mix up our tastings to suit our individual tastes. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visit again when we are next in the area!
We have been here many times. The wine is excellent from the cellar door and wood fire pizzas are delicious. All a beautiful Red Hill location.
Great place for a hangout with friends.
The pizza is awesome, the live music creates a good vibe and the wine is the best.
Our favorite venue on the Peninsula
Went to this place on Sunday. What an amazing place. Wonderful views but fantastic atmosphere. The staff couldnt do enough for us and were happy and completely proffessional. Top points guys keep up the good work.
A really relaxed, atmospheric venue with amazing wines and great pizzas. A great place for lunch and a must-go if you're in the area. Staff are friendly, attentive and they know their stuff.
Great outdoor dining! Service is great but unless you there very early it will be near impossible to get a table. Food is great and their wine is delicious.well worth a trip down there
My favourite place in the area by far. Friendly staff, excellent wine, beautiful food, and even the napkins are high quality. The venue manager, was welcoming and very friendly and willing to impart his knowledge and reccomendations onto us. I 100% would recommend T'Gallant, and although the food is a little pricey, the taste, the wine, the people, the location, and the experience is well worth it.
Let’s face the reality: the contemporary businesses are competing for sustainability and advantage in a market of restaurants, the best way to accomplish this is to cater to your customer, to provide an expected customer service to be in touch with modern tastes of vegetarian and vegan options on the menu and to NOT say NO changes to pizza when you only make it with animal products.plus, rude stuff, plus uneducated managers, plus.do I need to mention more? ! Not a good time, not a pleasant experience, not an up-to-date place to enjoy a great meal or a bottle of local vintage.will never be back!
The best casual dining experience in the Red Hill hinterland. They provide both vegan, and vegetarian options so I don't know what other reviewers are complaining about. Will be back
Really Dissatisfied with the service. The staff is rude and unwelcoming. I wouldn’t recommend. Spoke to the manager Ben about the service who advise that he has over 300 customers to look after at the moment, and 2 people complaining about service will not make much difference. This is a response from the manager? !
No customer service, overpriced food that doesn’t taste good.
