T'Gallant Cellar Door reviews
59Really disappointing.looked forward on sunny Sunday to lunch at Tgallant.arrived first thing told 90 minute session then took 20 minutes just to take drink order bottle arrived no ice bucket then when ready to order (it was 1pm) kitchen closed we were told only 2 chefs and overwhelmed.what did they think would happen on a sunny Sunday.finally were able to order pizza ok at best.have to pay for everything as you order which is difficult in group to split.lucky the prosecco reasonably priced and delicious but you need to lift your game T'gallant so many better options on the peninsula!

We came to T'Gallant on 15th May with a group of friends and after having a terrible customer service experience at a previous winery down the road, were pleasantly blown away by Sally who took our wine tasting at T'Gallant! The customer service was outstanding and more importantly, the wine was ALL so delicious and tasted exceptionally well. I've just ordered another 12 bottles of the 2020 Cyrano! Couldn't recommend this place highly enough. Great atmosphere, venue, staff and food!
Lovely lunch today, however we had one of the staff come over and suggest she needed to move us on to a drinking table as there was a queue waiting.we were still drinking/eating however the lady was adamant in asking us three times if we were done. Personally I felt very pressured to leave the venue. I'm unsure if there is a seating period however many couples who were sat before us were not asked the same question. Really poor service to end to an otherwise lovely meal.
What a wonderful experience we had today at T’Gallant. Thought we try our luck to get in for a late bite and even though they were closing Soon Craig welcomed us warmly. Such wonderful service by every single staff member working there. Best wood fired pizzas and the wine was amazing. Sally introduced us to wonderful wines and happy to have walked away with half a dozen. Thank you Sally and Craig you have a a wonderful thing going. Highly recommend this place to everyone.
Best winery in Melbourne. The food is amazing and comes out so quickly! They have a range of wines that all taste delicious! Highly recommend!
This is the very first winery I visited. 15 years later I still love coming here and ordering a salami pizza and the latest vintage of the Cyrano. This is still our number one destination when visiting the Mornington Peninsula.
The food was nice and not bad service but the inability to split the bill in any way was a massive inconvenience with a large group.
We were on our way for lunch today and called up to let them know we would be arriving at 3: 04. They said the kitchen closes at 3pm and they wouldn’t be able to serve us. We’ve been to Tgallant many times and enjoyed ourselves but this was seriously disappointing.
It’s a great winery, been here a number of times. It can get busy and they take bookings.
Great courteous staff! Very accommodating helped us find a spot inside bcs the position near the carpark we’re getting dust balled with the wind and cars leaving. Would have ruined my day eating dirt.
Hope that the owners can attend to that by shielding it those bushes are not helping any
To get to know the wines, we had a wine tasting before our lunch. Our favorites were the Grace Pinot Grigio, the Rosé and the Juliet Pinot Noir. The weather was perfect not too hot and we enjoyed the view over the green vines whilst we had a antipasti and pizza for lunch. We would totally recommend this winery.
Food and atmosphere was amazing. We did have to wait 45 minutes for our food to come out, but other than that it was an awesome place to dine.
Wine may have been okay. But could barely taste it due to the ridiculously small portions. You need at least 3 sips to taste a wine and we had one at best. Afraid the guy serving us didn't really seem to know about the vineyard / wine. And we weren't allowed to taste the more expensive wines (having paid for tastings). Just puts you off buying their wines.
A beautiful afternoon was enjoyed at this very scenic and relaxed winery. Staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. Hig
hly recommend pizza with a big salad. Enjoy with a glass of red and just chill.
The winery as a whole is fantastic with a bustling outdoors area and a large cellar door/friendly staff, however the reason for the 2 star review was due to the terrible customer service from the kitchen staff and (we think) the manager who offered no apology for their mess up resulting in our orders going to the wrong table and not arriving for over an hour after we ordered. He even had the audacity to make a joke about how the pizza's went to the wrong table. Prior to this, we asked the kitchen staff to check where are meals were, and they told us that they had been delivered. Table 29 is very different to table 50, but we also recognise that mistakes happen, however good customer service isn't hard. Food wise, it's okay. My Lasagna was miserable and tasteless, but the potatoes and pizza was delicious and responsibly priced. If I was to go back, fingers crossed that we have a better experience.
One of the best moscatos in the VIC region, ambience was pretty cool and the staff were amazing.
Great spot for some wine tasting and light lunch midweek.
Tends to be too busy on weekends but otherwise this is a beautiful spot to enjoy their specialty pizza with a glass of vino overlooking the rolling vines.
The staff in the tasting room are very knowledgeable and make the tasting a fun and educational experience. They have lots of good cellar door specials available too.
Delicious meals, dessert, coffee and wine. Great atmosphere, service and beautiful music. Had a great time yesterday at lunch and looking forward to coming again soon. Simply excellent and a must visit in Red Hill.
Came here for a wine tasting and lunch. Was a really nice experience. Staff were very nice, pizza was good and the wine was even better.
Live acoustic music in the afternoon helped make the already pleasant atmosphere even better. I would come back here for lunch on another nice day in the future.
Beautiful wines and amazing personalities from the staff. We were helped by Kim during our wine tasting who was very knowledgeable and had a great sense of humor. Just be mindful of his no phones rule!:)
