Good menu, lovely setting Delicious dishes.good service reasonably priced.
What more can one ask.

Yesterday lunched with three friends, we all had flathead tails, chips & salad, $26. Quite enjoyable apart from the "salad", a meagre portion of tired, sliced lettuce. Hopefully this will be improved before my next visit. Thank you.

I would highly recommend anyone who likes to eat quality food and my meal as well as our friends and wife meals were absolutely delicious and the desserts amazing.

The lamb Wellington consisted of a large lamb leg which was tender. It was wrapped in puff pastry which was nice but it was a bit thick for me. The gravy sauce with vegetables was tasty. The dish tasted homemade.
The fettuccine marinara was actually pretty good. The longer you ate into the meal, it seemed to get better. The mussels were a little bit too small, that were on display. A minimal disappointment for fine dining.
All in all, a good meal. This restaurant tends to take a bit of time when bringing the food out, but the taste and presentation make the wait worthwhile.

We just returned home after spending a very pleasant evening for two. Service was excellent, food delicious & our waiter Molly was exceptional.

Great menu, decent portion sizes, polite and attentive staff (Maddy) willing to go above and beyond. Kids steak was 'amazing' and given a '5 out of 5', by my 10 year old son. We'll be back.

Great food cooked to perfection. A bit pricey but worth it.

Edit: Came back a year later, considering how busy it was the food came out relatively quickly, and like last time was good also.

Nice ambience, delicious food and a good selection of wine! Would love to come back and try other food.

The kitchen & staff did so well. Went for a Friday lunch just before Xmas! They had large groups to cater for but were still attentive to our table of 2. Specials are always interesting and I usually chose from them

Very old school fine dining. The food is as excellent as can be expected. The twice baked goat's cheese souffle was the highlight of our meal!

Celebrated our parents birthdays here last night, Mum turned 80 and Dad 81.
My Sister and I wanted somewhere classy with white table cloths and linen napkins.

Although we are not local to Templestowe this restaurant ticked all the boxes and more.

All 10 of us (including 3 young adults) had a wonderful evening. Service was faultless & very attentive and all meals were amazing.
Compliments to all involved.
Highly recommended and we will be back.

Came here for lunch with a group.
Waited an hour and a half for an entree to only get dry bruschetta with soggy tomatoes.
Mains then came out a whole hour later! Steak was dry and tasteless.

At least the service was friendly.

Couldn't fault it. I have been there a three or four times over several years and it has always been good. Went there on a whim for lunch last weekend and it could not have been better. The food was superb, the service excellent and very well priced for what it was. Would highly recommend.

Amazing food and service but after speaking to the restaurant manager upon confirming our booking weeks before our dinner staff did not and would not honour our voucher and it was for a special occasion dinner

6 Star Restaraunt. Xlnt meals. Not big but there were plenty of side dishes to your liking. So u can build your own meal around the main dish. I had pork belly. Perfectly done with spicy cauliflower florets (my choice of side dish.) Meat was perfectly done and skin was crisp but easy to cut. The beers were CHEAP but the wines were average prices. Lots of variety of both craft beers and wines. Overall an xlnt place for a good dining experience. Sophisticated but friendly atmosphere. Quite busy but staff were able to cope and were attentive. This place has been around for many years so must be doing something right.
260822 - We went there again 11 of us. Same place. Same great service. Beers still cheap $7.50 for Crown lager. Food still xlnt. Similar to previous occasion.

Staff, great. Food, not so much. This restaurant looks (and is priced) like it should be quality, but was very bland. The entree scallop and chorizo was the best part of the meal. The mains, marinara salad and duck breast were both very bland, tasteless and disappointing. Passable for a family restaurant but not where you are paying almost $40 per meal.
The staff were lovely and helpful. The wine, nice and well priced. Probably won’t be back.

Atmosphere is wonderful. Food was delicious. Price was great. Customer service was excellent. Will come back again. Went there first time for Sunday lunch, kids enjoyed there meal too. Husband had the fish, I had chicken, girls shared a chicken and chips, they had a milk shake and Fanta, husband has a cider, all but $98 and was worth it.

Great food atmosphere and service. A high quality restaurant, with great menu options and wines to match. But make a booking, they are always busy.

Been there many times with best mate always brilliant service and food and fantastic wine list. Best restaurant in area by miles never disappoints always walk out if there very happy and full.
