Telstra not good enough. Arrived at 5.15pm, told at 5.20pm the store shuts at 6pm in 40mins and not enough time to serve me. That’s fine, taking my business elsewhere.
TRY THIS AS AN ALTERNATIVE IF THE FLAGSHIP BOURKE - SWANSTON STORE IS BUSY
Smaller than the Bourke - Swanston store but you can still get what you need (in service or equipment). Main benefit is that it is *usually* not as busy.

Absolutely shocking service. I spent $230 on a modem here only to find half the equipment in the box. When I tried to return it the manager was just plain rude and flatly refused to refund or replace the missing parts. I have not come across such poor service anywhere.
The Bourke Street Telstra store nicely did what this store should have done and it wasn't even their problem to fix.
Was there to provide documents for the Telstra Control Group for identity verification.
The guy who scanned and sent off my documents didn't bother getting on the phone with the Control Group to make sure everything was okay. The next day when I phoned their Control Group, they said the store had sent an email but with empty attachments, and told me to re-scan and send them again.
Terrible.
Ignorance.may be business too good so they don't care on customer service. Waited 20min queue even I'm the first in the line
I would give this store half a star if I could. I dealt with them today and not only did the two people I deal with not know what they were doing, they also provided me with an incorrect solution to my problem which would have left me without a newly purchased phone for at LEAST 1 week. I believe the term was "Nothing I can do about it". The Craigieburn store on the other hand, resolved my issue within minutes.
