49Never answers the phone, just on hold for several minutes then goes to tell you to check out their phone range online, then prompts you to leave a voicemail. Have called while standing outside the store itself and the staff just stand around talking about who knows what.
These people never answer their phone.nor do they ever respond to voicemail messages you've left for them! I've called whilst inside the store, when several employees were chatting amongst each other and not attending to customers.they still don't answer! In fact, no Telstra store I've ever called has ever answered their phone or their messages, I reckon. Telstra ought to remove all their store numbers from the website and chuck the desk phones in the bin!
Very poor customer service at Telstra shop at Elizabeth St Melbourne, I have been to the shop 3 times, each time they did not resolve my problem, all postpone to another time, or talked with bad language to me, the language of manager was harassment and abusing, I'm going to lodge a complaint with AAAC on abusive language they used, and will happy to talk to Telstra management about this, very disappointing, for a simple request, it is 2 weeks that they dragging me on ground. Very poor customer service, they are very rude.
The worst customer service
I just moved to Melbourne with my girlfriend, Ashley, a worker from the store in Elizabeth street was really helpful. He did not only assist us with buying the best plan for us but also helped us with installing the Sim cards for our phones and making sure they worked. He was extremely nice, answered all of our questions about Australia, and was really helpful overall. He also sent us an Email about a week later asking if everything was working fine and if we had any other questions,
Staff seem to cause more issues, than they solve.
Would recommend going to a difficult store if you want any real help.
Kevin is really friendly and helped me to get phone on contract, not only that he let me go through the plans and also suggested me which one to go for while choosing a reliable plan.
I recently requested a change to one of the mobiles on a group plan. They somehow managed to transfer my mobile, that wasn't related to the original enquiry, to somebody else and cancelled my SIM. My mobile was down for 4 days while I waited for a new SIM to come out to me. I spent 5 hours on the phone and two visits to the store to sort it out. Really bad outcome Telstra Elizabeth St.
Really great services and friendly staffs. I want to specially thank Tyra, she helped me solve the ownership transactions issues very efficiently. This is the best Telstra store in city I have experienced.
Came into the store for a prepaid dongle (which I now know comes with 20gb of free data with it) and had to wait 20+ minutes while my data was harvested and I was signed up for a recurring monthly plan.
Not to mention that the product I was looking for was out of stock and I was forced to upgrade from a $89 product to $140
Total disaster. The set up of our business account was completely wrong. Staff are patronising but still not able to fix the problems they've created. Waste of time and money. Go somewhere else.
Before I began to actively use my new Samsung phone, I wanted a proper protective case and screen protector for it. The options here were limited to just one brand's product for each cover type and very expensive, before AND after the Samsung galaxy note 10 plus' mandatory care products became old enough to warrant a *sale* price reduction.
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff member named Atoosa at Telstra store on Elizabeth St in Melbourne. I advised her that I had an upcoming virtual exam for which I needed reliable and secure internet connection. She was kind, welcoming and friendly and advised me on the perfect plan to meet my needs. Unfortunately, there were a number of issues regarding the setting up of internet which led to significant amount of stress and anxiety as I was uncertain whether I would have the appropriate internet connection to be able to sit my exam. However, Atoosa stayed in contact with me via phone calls and messages and tried relentlessly for 2 solid days to address the issues I had. This finally culminated in me obtaining nbn Wifi today when technicians and residential managers had said that it wasn't doable. She has gone above and beyond her job and shown a genuine desire to help another human in a difficult situation and having been in similar situations with other large companies before I can assure you that this is a rare trait. If you're passing by please pop in and say thanks to her for me. She truly deserves it.
Great time waiting for no service, gave up after 20 minutes just to get 1 question answered. They wanted me to wait and answer their questions. SAD.
Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Extraordinary service I would say - they even follow up with me two weeks after I sign up with them. Thank you Ella and Marcus!

Absolutely amazing customer service, hands down the best service I’ve received in a long time! Definitely my go to Telstra from now on.
Wanted to say that Ella's service today was fantastic; spent heaps of time patiently explaining everything and so helpful. Also got a good phone at an excellent price. Staff at other Telstra stores could learn some things.
Great visit, got everything I needed done, Thanks so much to Chris, she is very efficient and knowledgeable, look forward to seeing you again in 2020 to look at my other plans
Best Telstra store! Staff are efficient, brilliant and helpful (unlike many other Telstra shops where the staff are usually reluctant to do anything or simplely don't know what they are doing).
Super helpful with getting me a new phone plan. It was simple and quick and the guy that helped me was awesome:)
Need a new phone, one I have is great with you, just need to upgrade, maybe even have 2 phones and hopefully 3 numbers.
Will probably give another store a rating, and it will be 5 stars if I am happy with the new phone!
