Horrible customer service. Telstra getting back to its worst self. I went there 40 minutes before their closing time on a weekday (8th of June 2022), only to be told that it is too late to get any service (I wanted to order 5G home internet as the online order form did not actually work for me a number of times). The guy on the door, who was supposed to be triaging issues and helping customers seemed way more concerned with going home on time than actually being helpful.

Great Customer Service was only chasing a phone case and they didn't try to get me to switch providers or anything.

I am not very happy with the service this shop provided, or many I was just in a bad luck. I physically went this shop three times and did everything they asked for for transferring the ownership of the phone number, but the staff told me I need to provide another form which need start over again. Things just went circles.they advise me that I can do that online myself…. Well I went to another store near by on Elizabeth street, everything just done within 30 min. Sometimes after all bad luck you get one time good luck.

I have been here 3 times and total lack of service.each time. I was told at 1pm 17 May by the receptionist that I would have to make an appointment as there was at least 30 minute wait. I just wanted to see some phone options for our business. There were no customers in the showroom and three Telstra customer service staff sitting down. I advised the receptionist this fact but virtually she had no interest. As I left there was a rolling of the eyes reaction. Went to Elizabeth St store and totally different. Very helpful. Took out a new iphone contract. Dont go to Bourke Street if you want customer service.

The people that supported me here today were friendly and helpful! The inconvenience I am experiencing remains unresolved, but this is out of everyone's control temporarily. I do recommend this store as it is Telstra owned, & is not a franchise. Wait time was not long at all & was expected as I was accurately advised. Quite a few people work in this store & the environment is big in size so it's comfortable to chill here while waiting for support/sales.

My mother has been overcharged on more than one occasion by Telstra and just wanted help on a bill recently. She didn't know they were taking more money from her account (incorrectly in my opinion) and barely had enough money for medication. So she went into the store well before closing time and the person at the front is always a brick wall saying "make an appointment" and refusing to actually listen to Mum's issue and not help in any way, despite they were not busy, not closing soon and mum is standing right there. My mother nor people in general have the time always to make appointments for trivial quick matters and keep coming back. Why can't they think on their feet or behave in a non rehearsed way? Customer service is disrespectful to certain people in my opinion.

The staffs at Telstra store at the corner of Bourke Street and Swanston Street are lazy. I arrived at 5.35pm on Friday and asked for a quick help, but they didn’t want to help and said the store will close at 6pm. There are ao many people need work in this pandemic period. They should be replaced with people who really want to work and help the customers.

Nice and very helpful the only problem was that their software is too slow and took an hour to fill in all the documents just for a phone plan.it needs some optimisation.

Typical Telstra bureaucracy where process more important than people and efficiency and honesty are way down the list.
Went to the store Saturday after been told by Telstra online to go to this store, arrived only to find they would only sell you an iPhone if you made an appointment and there were no appointments available.
Called the store before hand and left a message as requested but of course they didn’t call back.
So made an appointment for Next day another hour and a half travel to the city, arrived on time told the (terse) service attendant what I was there for, lots of key boarding and screen staring and eventually he took my license and started the paperwork, 30 minutes later - Oh sorry we don’t have iPhone 12 in stock.
Wouldn’t you think this could have been clarified before the appointment was made? Or at least when I first sat down, no they seemed to take pleasure in the fact I had travelled 1 hour and 30 two days in a row and then waited 30 minutes for the chap to say “computer says no” I expressed my disappointment, calmly and he had the audacity to berate me for being rude.
It seems they couldn’t care less about customers, more about their adherence to their ineffective and old fashioned “process” they have designed to make life breezy for their staff.

Mr. Frank was extremely helpful and professional with my cellular iWatch issues today. I previously visited another Telstra store to get the issue resolved, but they could not assist me. Mr. Frank provided fantastic customer service and he is a great example of what Telstra store workers should always be like. Honestly, 5/5 - Excellent! Thank you so much!

Absolutely horrible well the lady manager so called behaves as she’s the owner of Telstra company she behave costumers rudely as they are going to steal all the stuffs I wonder how this lady has leadership skill to control other staff disgusting lady never gonna come to your store

The sheer arrogance and lack of customer service is appalling. Greeted well and warmly though, went downhill after being assigned to a Rep. Went in for an iPhone but decided to port all my services out of Telstra. I hope you have a better experience as I saw a bunch of other reps helping customers going above and beyond what was required. Mine had won an Oscar in how not to engage with customers.

The time told about queuing was completely incorrect. The call notification was not clear, but eventually it was re-queued. Bad reviews, bad service.

Always trusted Telstra with their customer service focus but this time around I had a very bad experience as they could not assist with my problem. Although I can prove identity with a photo of my licence, bills on my email an all account related details, their excuse was that “these days you can photoshop anything” really Telstra? Is that how you prepare tour staff?

Friendly staff and customer service was great, staff gave honest advice for a new phone to match my needs. This store does get a little busy so there is a small wait to see someone there but have comfy seating to sit on while you wait.

Long wait then yiu told to come back later. Then long wait again they they apologize because they closing soon. "Please go to Melbourne central branch they open til late" while they alreay closed
