44Went to Telstra Victoria Gardens to get a new plan, but was refused because I only had my driver's license and bank cards. Apparently I needed something else, like passport/medicare card. Who carries their passport with them to to the shops? Went to the Telstra shop in Chapel St and walked out with my new plan shortly after. Turns out drivers license and bank card is more than enough to prove identity.
Appalling service. I returned my 2 day old S9 Samsung Galaxy that had stopped switching on only to be told they would need to send it away for 14 days without replacement. I explained that the Telstra website referred to ELF immediate replacement. They were clueless, unhelpful and contrary. Went to Bourke St store and they replaced immediately. I recommend skipping this store and go straight to Bourke St for proper assistance.
Poor service. I asked about dual sim phones after 1/2 hour waiting and they didn't know anything about them. I ended up travelling to jb hi fi to buy a galaxy note 9 and sorted a plan out over the phone
The young lady that looked after me was fantastic, completely fixed everything on my phone plus got extra data, completely set my phone up. Much appreciated. A huge thank you to telstra shop in Victoria gardens and miss Sally Tip.
