Jam packed full of toys! So much so that you should leave your pram/pusher at home, to hard to navigate one around. Great range, Lego heaven!

Great range of Lego at a good price. Bought a Lego Creator London Routemaster for a cheaper price than they had it on eBay. Made the trip as part of a day out to Geelong on the train with the kids and they were impressed too. Would return next time I am in Geelong if I was looking to buy Lego.

Yates Toy Shop (Shannon Avenue) is the best toy shop in Geelong. They have a great range of toys designed to please all ages and the staff are knowledgeable and very helpful and friendly.

Has huge range of toys that you can't get from other stores. But some are a little more expensive than other shops.

Have spent many hours in this store (and not always with children). The selection of toys is diverse and the cost appropriate. I generally loathe shopping but am always surprised by what I find at this location - be it a large toy or a tiny stocking stuffer that is educational and fun.

I have not been to this hobby shop for 6 mouths, as i live in Ballarat.
I was very surprised to see all the new models and stock in the hobby department. Will be back more often!:)

An exciting shop with amazing staff. It’s worth the travel each year from Canberra to buy gifts for our kids (big & small). This year, a Tamiya Short Wheel base Pajero remote control model (exactly the same as our big one) for my man. He’s had so much joy carefully building it & then fun driving it at the Big 4 Bellarine with many spectators watching him drive it. The salesman (I wish I’d asked his name) who sold it to us was very special. Big range of toys and friendly staff. The only reason I have them 4 stars instead of 5 is the poor selection of Hotwheels and Matchbox cars. Huge range of lego and they have a specialised remote control vehicle section.

Ordered two servo motors, one was dead on arrival, which I sent back. RC World replaced the servo VERY quickly! Very happy!

Great store for Lego and often have discounts for it too. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Lots of stock and easy to order other sets in. Xmas layby available too!

Love this place. In just 5 minutes we have a gift for grand childs event everytime and they even wrap it!

Too much stock in the shop, makes it hard to look around. Some of the products are pretty awesome.

Didn't have what I particularly wanted, but staff did their utmost to help me out with my problem. Great service!

I've been a customer of Tate's RC world for a number of years now and I have never had a bad experience with them. The range of products is awesome along with the staffs knowledge. The website is well layed out and easy to use as well. Delivery is very prompt for when I don't have the time to go to the shop. Keep up the great work guys and girls!

Been coming to Tates for a number of years now. Have found Clayton and Luke to be extremely helpful and don't hesitate in sharing their knowledge. I have bought a number of planes where if gone elsewhere would've paid less. I believe in paying for quality and supporting local business where I can. I also like to be able to see what I'm purchasing. Great service in both hobbies and toys.

Staff there are usually friendly, but one let down is the price. I have bought model aircraft from other hobbie stores around Victoria and some models have been up to $10 cheaper, but it's my local store so I do like to support local business and they usually have everything I need.

Dont think expensive.lots toys at sale prices and staff who know their product and target audience. Perfect place for grandparents to shop
