I have found Tates toys to be very helpfull and will go out of their way to find what you need even if it is a smallest of a sale. I will continue to shop at Tates toys. Top job.

All staff extremely knowledgeable very helpful and friendly, recently started model railways as a hobby, and they spent time helping me to get going. Store well stocked, and recommend to all model enthusiasts and for children's games and toys.

Exceptional hobbyist centre with knowledgeable staff, The only place to go when you need that specialist item to complete your project.

Expensive! They say they price match, but only if a physical store locally has the item in stock. They won't price match with Target/Kmart online. Is that a great customer experience, especially for frequent, loyal local customers. This is a local small business. Let's work together and support each other. Next time, we will just buy online elsewhere.

Staff were lovely. Excellent customer service. I went in with what I knew I wanted and they had the product. Nice to not have to go online. A lot to be said for this beautiful bricks and mortar store.

This place has it all. The hobby shop is well stocked and staff are always great to deal with. Very friendly and knowledgeable.

Thos is a really good shop for the older kids as it has loads of remote control car stuff, good model kits, excellent selection of model paints and really good toy railway stuff. Very impressed for Geelong

No store can have everything but this toy shop has a big range and are very helpful especially when you know more or less what you looking for, but not sure what the options are that fit the bill. Not the cheapest but prices aren't too bad for a speciality shop. Almost always find something to tick the box here. I'm sure my last purchases won't be my last.

Not very reasonable rates, i mean, just usual prices, not like being a toy super store that would avail a little cheaper prices.

Tightly packed store makes things a bit difficult but they've got plenty on offer. The hobby/RC staff are especially helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. They stock a large range of Vallejo paints etc.

The plastic model kit I ordered of an Airbus A380 by Revell, arrived in just a few days and I must say the overall service was outstanding. It was a little bewildering trying to choose where I would get the model from but in the end it came down to this: Tates Toyworld were the only online store I could find that would let me attach my residential address to the order. All the others told me I lived somewhere else.my life of crime and being on the run has finally caught up with me!

Its the bested shop in Geelong, the staff are great so helpful, old fashion service, i will be back.

I find the staff to be very courteous & friendly, the gentleman who looks after the hobby section is very knowledgeable in his field of expertise & is willing to give advice.

Excellent delivery speed and service for RC plane stuff! Items arrived less than a week after ordering, with no errors. Customer service was great when orders had an item that was actually out of stock and made sure that everything was settled quickly. A great local online business to deal with.
