Great for kids birthdays, they’re happy to encourage a little ‘happy birthday’ singalong & a cake, great quality food & first class service

I've had several birthday's here, can be a bit pricy, but staff are amazing, food is good & I always leave having had an enjoyable night.

Revolving Doors.

The revolving doors of Chinese restaurants should stop here, Tao Tao House is serving good Cantonese food and very reasonable.their service is also way above average.

Always a good option for Cantonese food in Hawthorn, Kew and Camberwell area.

I'm not a fan of this extra 1,5% bank merchant fee for paying with cards, we are living in a cashless transaction society.

One of my new favourites yumcha place in Melbourne! I booked a table here because I have tried almost dim sum places in the city and wanted to try something different. I browsed online and found Tao Tao House got good reviews so I decided to try.

I found the foods were really good and fresh. I also liked that they used the trolley to bring the foods around so I could see what the had.

The restaurant itself not really big but it felt really cozy. The staff were quite friendly and attentive.

Overall, I really like the foods and the atmosphere so will definitely be back in the future.

Quiet. Usually no need prior booking. Great food. Parking is not easy though. Service is pretty good.

Hmmmm was bit fickle minded and came here on a whim.there’s soooo many things to eat here now at Hawthorn! Anyways for the unconcerned.this place is ok.sama sama.dame same but different.

The prawns used in the prawn steam noodle thingy.sorry forgot what that’s called in engeris.was soaked in salt water! Very salty! Either that or it is laden with preservatives to allow it to keep longer. Everything we had was just msg! We finished several pots of tea in the 30min we were there.

8 items and the bill? $73! YMMV. I liked this place yeaaaars ago but is no longer the quality I remembered it to be.

Made a booking for 8. Had to wait 30minutes to be seated at 2 different tables then be told kitchen closes in 15mins. Very poor management.

Nice and well cooked food. Great staff service and food presented well. Still a little pricy for chinese food but it's probably the area pushing up prices.
