I have been here so so many times, its alwyas my first choice. Com Tam (broken rice) here is the best dish i have ever had in Melbourne. I have tried many places but i always come back here with my friends and family.highly recommended ^^

Best AUTHENTIC broken rice and seafood noodle soup! Don't bother looking elsewhere with terrible marinated and dry pork chops. I've tried them all and keep coming back to this one

Best place in Melbourne (at least in the west) for com suong nuong (grilled pork chop). Only place we know that actually grills the meat (other places pan fry). Their hi tieu mi kho (dried mixed pork noodles) is also fantastic. Only thing is that they close super early (shut shop by 6pm) so organise to go earlier.

Best com tam around melbourne! Generous portion and great flavour. Vermicelli salad is also very good alternative for healthier option!

This restaurant has the best pho in Melbourne. I love their banh mi too. All their food are simply delicious. My favorite Vietnamese restaurant. Hope to come back soon.

When I first start this review I was thinking to myself, "is this place worth the 10 hour drive? ". Short answer yes, the best com Tam bi suon cha you can have in Australia. Very authentic and the setup is very similar to Vietnam. Once you try this place you will not be disappointed.

Someone had once said to me: "I'd like to see you find a better version of broken rice in Melbourne". You won't. So just save yourself the heartache of a disappointing search and eat here.

Best Vietnamese restaurant to go. Very generous portion and cheap. Definitely must try and won't dissapoint.

My favourite dish is Vermicelli Salad with Pork Chop which I always struggle to finish on my own.
They also serve good Avocado and Durian Smoothies. Try them all.

Very reasonable price, very busy at lunch times, better go before midday, otherwise you have to wait for seats, very friendly service, big dishes, regular go there more than 2 times a week

The meals are alright. Not awesomely tasty. Big serving size. Perhaps should have order pork chop rice.nevertheless, don't think I'll visit again

The food was a terrific but faulty advertisement.
I ordered a crab noodle soup, and there were no crab claws like in the picture, there only three small pieces of fake crab meat.
I called the waiter, she said the menu was ages ago - and she even added: " there is still more crab meats in the bowl. "
I showed her my bowl, and she pretended to walk away.
It is not my first time coming here; the foods taste good- however, it has a lot of MSG; my mouth was so dry and thirsty after leaving the place.
As the price goes up, the quality goes down.
Serve the customer with fake crabs and in DENIAL about it. This is embarrassing.
Just because they are getting more loyal customers like me so they can do whatever they want. And they think they can get away with it.
I do know a lot of people will ignore it, but that's not how they should treat their customer by putting a blindfold on us.
So viewer, after reading my review, if you want to have a go. Definitely yes. However, you have to be strong and confront them. For them to learn that customer are not dumb.

When your in Footscray. Tan's is a must. The have the best bun-mee's on the planet.
We are frequent here, generally on a Sunday.which is chill day in our household.
Walking into Tan's the first thing you notice is the vast amount of seating which can get very packed. Then the delicious smells of mouth watering Vietnamese and baking.

The staff are super friendly and very fast. So your food arrives before you go stir crazy from hunger.

There are alot of local people from the neighborhood that go to Tan's.and that I think shows a welcoming culture and the people love the food.
