Tahina Northcote reviews
60 Super tasty food and generous portions.
Service was a bit lacking, but I did only interact with one member of staff. Maybe all the other peeps were friendly and helpful
It hard to find a good plant based restaurant. Tahina has a great selection on food and the taste was amazing.
Always delicious and fresh! Staff is really friendly! I am always looking forward to visit Tahina
One of the best places to get your falafels and hummus cravings sorted. Food quality is great, serving portions is really good and service is outstanding. The experience from when you order all the way once you are done eating is worth going back. A place I recommend often to my friends.
I ordered a sabich which didn't have amba. How's that even a sabich? Average food and not good value.
Tried the falafel salad and it was absolutely delicious. Service levels are high and the staff seemed nice. Will recommend!
Been coming here for years, food is wholesome and delicious. Even when a recent order was unsatisfactory Roy rectified with Ease and Yumminess thank you
We went here as a mini-treat during COVID lockdow. Expecting better based on all the hype, we unfortunately found the food lacking taste / flavour. Sadly, not rushing back in a hurry.
Incredible. We got the "Date Night for Two" and it was glorious - I feel like we sampled the whole menu! Seriously good food - fresh and full of flavour. A new favourite!
Wow the “Sabich” pitta was delicious. I don’t think they could have put more ingredients and more flavour into one pitta bread if they tried. Such a succulent little morsel
Tahina is my go to for amazing and yummy food, I order from them at least 1-2 times per week, food is always fresh, always consistent and always yummy, I can never fault their food, I have an allergy and tahina is always careful not to include any allergens and always adheres to my requests. Keep up the good work and thank you, you have a lifetime customer.
Solid meal and very friendly service.
We got the Falafel Salad and Sabich - the waiter saw that we were sharing meals and offered to provide the Sabich pita pocket deconstructed which was a welcome change from other places that don’t think about the customers in that way.
Thank you Tahina!
THIS PLACE IS AWESOME!
So far I’ve had:
- the pumpkin pita pocket (it was freaking awesome, so fresh and delicious flavours)
- the blue smoothie bowl (yum! Granola was amazing)
- the miso caramel smoothie (my friend’s exact words were, “I think this is the best smoothie I’ve ever had? ”)
Heaps of the things are vegan as well.
The real deal. Get yourself some authentic delicious middle eastern food - it's what you're looking for. Seriously. Do it.
The food here is really very good, cheap and cheerful. Always a delight and return again and again
Large portions. Quality & tasty vegetarian food
Excellent self service setup made ordering easy.
The food at Tahina is fantastic. But at the counter it is typical hipster service. NQR to say the least.
The falafel pita pocket was great but shakshuka was very disappointing. Cafe shakshukas are much better. It had big chunks of chewy tomato skin and not much flavour.
Excellent shashuka options, it does get quite busy at times and parking can be problematic. Great service but limited inside seating due to physical constraints.
