Tahina Northcote reviews
60 Fabulous food and fabulous people serving it!
The food is made with fresh and high quality ingredients and you can taste that in every bite!
Keep it up guys love from Perth
Amazing place to have good Vegan food and healthy salads. Must try Red Shakshuka with Pita bread and Monkey salad.
Seriously delicious pitas. Very filling and they don't skimp on the filling. Great food and lovely serving staff.
Enjoyable food, the crispy chickpeas and cauliflower just melted in my mouth. Really generous portions and fast service.
The best falafel I have had. Highly recommend, so delicious and filling.
- Melbourne
The staff were so friendly and personable. The food was affordable and so delicious. I will definitely be back!
My first visit - and I’ll be back. Friendly service. Outdoor seating (on High St). The ‘Yarakhot’ pita pocket ($13) was very tasty. Freshly prepared. A generous serve. Not so impressed by the pot of breakfast leaf tea; it’s a bit dull. It wasn’t fast food but it was good value and wholesome.
The feed me meal for 2 was excellent and filling for 44 and the owner is a nice guy. Great place.
Tahina is one of my favourite restaurants in Melbourne. Their entire menu is delicious. Portion sizes are good for the price, ingredients are fresh, and their food always leaves me feeling nourished. My pick for best falafel in Melbourne, for sure.
Everything on the menu here is great. Good value and service. I highly recommend trying some zhug and amba with your meal, these are unique condiments not widely available outside of Israel.
Good chains are as rare as palm trees in Antarctica. What works great once, often falls down on repetition. Not so here. Terrific felafel on a bed of pickly cabbage, creamy tahini and hummy, lettuce and somehow, although looking like first thing in the morning, tastes of champagne supper. Terrific service.
What an underwhelming experience! The food is lack lustre to say the least, it’s not fresh and certainly not worth the money. The restaurant itself is tacky and the staff are careless and incompetent.
Ordered takeaway the feed me for 2 pack - wowy. Huge spread, amazing flavours and just hit all the right spots. Who ever knew that all veg could be so tasty and satisfying.
Very highly recommended
Had few times here, always the best. Thus restaurant is also my wife's favourite. This time we tried pumpkin dog which was bit sweet for me but still very enjoyable
Great value for money experience. The felafel are wonderfully light and delicious home made pita.
This place never disappoints.the Sabich is my go to.the vegan hot dog is a close second.everything is so fresh tasting. I don't think the menu changes much but there is plenty to choose from.
After visiting Israel I have always been on the hunt for authentic Israeli food and this place is 100% on point! I had picked up take away from here before and their food always takes me back to my travels!
This time I ate in and had the roasted cauliflower with hummus, lemon and tahini and it was insanely good (as per usual)
Would definitely recommend this place, in particular to people who are dipping their toe into a vegetarian diet. You will not miss the meat and will be completely satisfied!
Had an amazingly beautiful lunch there and the atmosphere was adorable!
The food portion is very satisfying and quality is high as well.
Love to go again
Loved loved loved the food, it was so delicious and the presentation was very nice. I had a falafel salad and super green smoothie and still can feel the taste. Will go there again definitely
