What a great little place, awesome atmosphere, amazing food. Staff were very good too. Highly recommend.

Lovely to find a Mexican restaurant with Spanish speaking staff. Drinks were amazing and lots of gluten free food options. Highly recommend.

It's costly but sooooo worth it!
Thier food is well prepared and seasoned, and the chicken fajita salad is very refreshing. We ordered some fruit margarita to go with it, the tropical is fantastic, and the pineapple was alright. On the side, the quesadillas are superb, you get 4 slices each with garnish and a good crunch. Go for the beef! Pretty standard tacos except for the fish one. I ended up ordering two, after having just one bite of my partner's fish taco. Just that good!

I would give it 0 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE! ! We ordered a Margarita and the girl had no clue how to make one because it tasted horrible (I've been a bartender)! After complaining, she brought up another as bad as the first one but just stronger. The chips were worse than old Doritos. The nachos were low-quality and the beans were dried from the pressure cooker. SADLY, besides the fake name, the food has no authenticity and the menu is cheap fake option of what should be! While ordering, we saw a baby mouse running away from the kitchen which caused us to cancel the order and leave! I wouldn't recommend!

From America but was visiting friends and ended up at Taco Bill unintentionally. It was very delicious! Friends thought so too. We're still going on about how good the food was and wanting to go back asap!

My dinner at taco bill, scratch that, EXPERIENCE at taco bill was something to write a review about. And that's exactly what I did.

Whether it was the incredible food, amazing staff, great vibes, or even the incredible food, I loved every second of my taco bill food extravaganza. The environment that the staff create lead to my total immersion in the journey to flavour that is taco bill. The art and vibrancy that is written on the walls of this venue engulf all they touch, enshrouding you in what can only be described as an air of aromas that quite literally drips from from the stunning eeves that support this fine establishment. There is something tangible and real about the food itself, as it tests the boundaries of delight while simultaneously exciting the senses with tales of flavour that are yet to be told.

I was initially timmid you come out for dinner, as it's currently Halloween, the spookiest time of the year (and I'm not talking about tax time teeheehee). But my concerns of being fully spooked by the regular gouls and goblins of Halloween quickly evaporated, replaced with the sweet scent of their Street Style Taco range.

I had a fishbowl to share and I tell you what, being a fish in that bowl would have been a true treat! The way the flavours came together in the same way the Mansfield Eagles Reserve team came together for their resounding win in the 2009 Golburn Valley Football League grand final is something to write home about.

In conclusion, my experience here is one I will never forget, both because of the amazing memories I have of it and the physical reminder that is the free hat they gave me. I highly recommend this restaurant to all who are interested in good venues, great food, and overall outstanding culinary experiences! Taco bill truely is a JOURNEY OF THE MIND.

The street tacos looked appealing so I got 3:
1) Fish, battered with shredded cabbage, pico de gallo, chipotle aoili
2) Chicken with house guacamole, topped with pico de gallo
3) Carne Colorado - slow cooked beef, house guacamole, topped with pico de gallo

Complimentary Corn chips and salsa are brought to the table which is a nice snack before mains.

After a squeeze of lime which makes all the difference, the fish is perfectly cooked encased by a lovely light golden brown batter, fresh pico de gallo and I like the chipotle aoili. Tasty but missing seasoning to elevate the fish. For the chicken, seasoning was again muted which detracted from the overall flavour of the taco once again. The shredded chicken in spices is delicious, tasty and enjoyable. The beef taco was the star, I loved the smoky char flavour on the beef which added a point of difference. Comfortably full but went for a dessert.

Death By Chocolate - layers of chocolate mousse and chocolate ice cream topped with crispy tortilla and whipped cream.
Shared with my colleagues, despite having a sweet tooth this is too much for one person. Very chocolatey, lovely mousse, cool ice cream, love the whipped cream and a tasty dessert. Not sure what happened to the crispy tortillas but I don't think it's necessary.

I loved this Taco Bills the food was delicious big serves and the best seafood tacos. Friendly nice staff and great decor, lm looking forward to going back, thanks guys

This place was dirty and dingy. We ordered a cascade beer it was out of date. The nachos with chicken was ok, but the chicken looked like it was from a bbq chicken the margarita tasted funky. Not sure what tequila they used. I had one zip of it and didn’t drink anymore. Overall $40 down the drain. The rubbish bins overflowing could be seen from the restaurant. Disgusting

It's an institution in Melbourne. Great customer service and they were very nice to accommodate us on arrival. Tacos tasted bloody good. Nachos could be added with more guacamole, otherwise it was delicious.

When they get busy their staff lose all sense of manners. Called to see if we could book. They picked up proceeded say they'll check if we can book, then forgot about the phone call ×. Waited on the phone for 10mins ×.
Decided to go in to check as one of our group were nearby.
Told the staff we called and tried to book but were left hanging with no answer.only response was "we're full" gestured at the room then walks off.
An apology for the call incident might have been nice, × "either a we don't take bookings" or we can put your name down for when someone leaves or even the wait will be [insert time] ×
Just walks off.
It's a shame because I did enjoy the last time we went.

Me and my friends had an awesome time, the staff were all super kind, we all got sombreros for our fishbowls and our food was hot and damn good. Always a pleasure

Very cool little hidden away Restaurant. 5 stars for both the vibe of the place and the food that was amazing. My girlfriend and I ordered the slow cooked beef burrito bowl and the chicken quesadilla to share and it was delicious! Also special mention to the music being played. Had to Shazam a couple tunes to put in my own playlists

Decent food. Although asked for chicken well done and waiter said “its cooked already”. Not very nice customer service. Lied about not having slushie and I saw slushie when I went to pay.

Massive shout out to the amazing staff at Taco Bill's on Russell Street last night.
We came in so late, near close and they treated us to a party like atmosphere. They fed us, gave us yummy slushies and played fun tunes. We all had such a ball and it meant so much to all of us.
Thank you to the chefs and waiting staff for looking after us like family. You made a wonderful evening so perfect!

Service was fast but incorrect. Wrong tacos and wrong drinks. Husband had intergestion all night
