Taco Bill - Croydon reviews
54I recommend buying an El Paso taco, burrito or enchilada meal kit at the supermarket instead of trying anything from the menu at Taco Bill. I don't know how the Taco Bill franchise has not become bankrupt considering the quality of their food has been consistently bad for as long as I can remember.
Rice was not cooked, beef was over cooked.food was not prepared as asked and assured they would do so when I received food it was cold and if you want somthing spicy would not recommend chillie fires mine were very mild next to no spice very upset never going back do not recommend
A little let down, we order from here a lot, we have had home delivery from here before, we just tried to order home delivery and were just told they don’t deliver to where we live, but have previously? Quite upset.
Seats you then ignores you for half an hour, serves people who came after you before even acknowledging you.
Amazing atmosphere and staff the little one Estelle she’s great just all around amazing place to go for a meal not to mention the food is such quality for the price highly recommend!
Okay, so the food is quite pricey when you factor in the quality, which is sub par compared to most other Mexican restaurants, the atmosphere is nice but service was never fully correct with our orders, we had to ask for water 4 times.
The lack of staff could explain some of the latter comments, but overall it is Like the restaurant is pretending to be a Mexican restaurant and not actually delivering like one.
Ps the liquor licensing is quite odd and would be better if one could have a drinking without a minimum $16 spend on food.
Small venue and you will be sitting very close to other booked tables even though the rest of the place is empty. The food is good though, expensive for what it is but tasty.
We ordered an alcoholic fishbowl but were given the non alcoholic one.we thought it tasted very weak but it wasn't confirmed until we paid our bill.we paid $30 for cordial lol.
When we wanted to order, the waitress told us the main menu foods are half price (we asked twice) so we ordered 3 foods but the receipt was for 2 half price and a full price and the only apology we heard was “sorry about misunderstanding “ but you should pay that full!
I’ve dined at taco bill Croydon many times, and every time has been exceptional. The food is always fantastic, have never had to wait long for service, the staff are friendly, especially the owner! The atmosphere is always lovely here. The always have great specials going also.
Staff friendly but not very tentative. Had to go up to order. Ordered the Del Mar and was very disappointed. Prawns (4) were tough and the "scallops" (1) had only the centre part the size of a ten cent piece.
The food was OK, (on pair with others) was little disappointing though as went on a Monday (advatised as 1/2 mains [small print till 8]) we ordered at 7: 15 and finished eating around 8, however as we paid after 8 it was full price should be warned that its only pay before 8 not order and eat before 8, because if you pay at 8: 10 you get stung! Annoying
FANTASTIC. Great food staff are happy and friendly will pass on to friends what a great place this is to dine.
Food was fresh and tasty and vibrant with big portions. The waitresses were attentive and helpful. The decor inside was bright and colourful, there is also great views of the Dandenong's if you sit in the outside undercover dinning area. Plenty of special are advertised in the restaruant, half price food Monday to Wednesday make for a really cheap dinner plus the $6.00 Margaritas on Friday & Saturday are steal at less than 1/2 price.
Neat clean place for some good food. There are varieties other than the usual Mexican food and they were delicious. The staff were polite and accommodating and we had a great time. It’s a good place for kids too.
I came here for Mother’s Day with Family. Great food and service was amazing. I’ll be coming back!
Excellent. Good specials. Good service. We were recommended by another local and they weren't wrong.
Great friendly service, food was exceptional, great presentation, and big portions. Plenty of specials like half price food on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.or if you like $6.00 Margaritas which I highly recommend. YUM
Very good food, came in on Sunday and was served by a young girl who had great manners and made the experience very enjoyable
Very poor food quality. Burritos were passable but in no way worth the price. Margarita was not a margarita. Dessert was terrible. Low quality half melted ice cream. Melted cream. Stodgy packet mix mousse. Tiniest sliver of brownie. Horrible coffee. This was the first time I'd eaten at a Taco Bill. I won't be going to another in a hurry. Owner below says they listen to reviews. That doesn't seem to be the case in practice.
Good friendly service. The terms and conditions everywhere as you walk in make a poor first impression. Food was good.
