Taco Bill - Croydon

I came here last night for my birthday (Saturday). Despite the restaurant being advertised to close at 10 - the servers asked us to leave in 15 minutes at 8: 30. After asking this, they turned the lights off next to our table and made us feel very unwelcome.
One of my friends was still eating their meal when the server asked if he was finished, he replied no, however she took it away anyway. I asked for another drink but was told the bar was closing and it was never brought out to me.
My friend also found a piece of plastic in their food….

Been here twice now and on my first night I knew it was my new favourite Mexican place. Food is top notch (those chili fries in photo is a starter!) Drinks are just as great and service is top quality. Everything is speedy service and waitresses have the best customer service I've seen in a long time. Highly recommended.

Do yourself a favour and maybe try Carlos Cantina in Croydon. If I want my food made by "Chef Mike", I'll heat up a Lean Cuisine at home where I can even get myself a plate to eat off.

Loved the whole Shazam it was soo cute, the new owners were really nice the waiter Thomas was soo friendly and helpful, love the decoration although the lights could be better but such a nice place with such nice foods. Love love love

Great tasting food, first time in this location and was very happy with service and quality of food.

Hands down the best Taco Bill I have been to. Food was super fresh, tacos were crispy. Much better food than the Camberwell, Blackburn & Bentleigh venues. Worth the drive if you like Mexican food.

Should be rated way higher in my opinion.

The meals are always good. The service is always excellent.

Enchiladas, and Soft shelled beef tacos are my favourites.

Good selection of drinks available as well.

Dined here on Tuesday 12Apr22 with my teenage (Vegetarian) son. To be honest, the food is pretty much on par with Food Court "Mexican" - no a lot of "cooking" goes into the dishes, just heating up stuff. Serving size is huge! Too big for the crockery it is served on! The Nachos. WAY TOO much cheese! Price is on the expensive side considering the quality of the food. Tips: Lower the prices or improve the food quality; Bigger plates & most importantly WAY LESS CHEESE. Gunna have to improve to get my business, I will be a local in a few weeks. I'll be checking out TNT next week. Service was ok

A mexican resturant that is a cheap and cheerful place. Whilst the experience of the dine was not bad it was not memorable. A plate of nachos was shared amongst myself and 2 adult children, with tacos for additional snacks was reasonable but too brightly light and definite slant on large margaritas drink. Overall just a place for a quick bit, drink and on your way.

A large group of us dined in tonight at your restaurant. The service we received from the 2 women taking orders was fabulous however the kitchen staff need an attitude adjustment.
We had a large order of food with many dishes and there is nothing wrong with mistakes being made, we can accept a mistakenly took order or miscommunication, but the way these situation were handled was ridiculous.
We had a few items having to be sent back as they were made with ingredients we asked to be left out and a few items we received were wrong but we ate them anyway (ordering chicken tacos but receiving beef).
But something that I can’t get over and has led me to writing this review is that a serve of nachos we asked to come out with no guacamole first came out with such on top. That’s fine, when explained to the waitress she apologies and brought it back to the kitchen. When it came back out it was on a small plate with mounted salsa and sour cream and guacamole smeared on half of the chips and on the plate. It was clear they had put the old nachos on a new plate, attempted to remove the gaucamole and cover it up. This was so frustrating as we have allergies to cater for and the attitude of the kitchen staff was presented right there in front of us.
This may not mean much to you but we won’t be returning again.

Food isn't bad, service is average, not much vibe as it's always so quite when l have gone and you always feel like you have to hurry so owners can go home.

The food was pretty decent but a little on the exxy side, still good tho also $6 margaritas go hard

Ok place to have dinner. Servers were removing our plates while we were still eating from them, bit too keen. Toilets really needed to be cleaned. Couldn’t eat what I ordered as Coriander was in the food that wasn’t stated on the menu, nachos and stuffed jalapeños very bland. Tastes as though the chef has little taste buds, food hasn’t been eaten by chef or servers in some time by the taste of it. Drinks were good though and food was quick to arrive. Would go back again and ask for alterations.

Dined last night. Brought back great memories of Mexico, especially the FISH TACOS amazing.and straight from Sinaloa, Cerveza Pacifico. Fajitas authentic & great, generous portions. Tacos great. Kids menu super value. Staff very friendly.a great dining experience.

We have been to other Taco Bill locations but Croydon is the best. The food was amazing and the waitresses are attentive and friendly.
