Taco Bill - Bentleigh

Didn't go in, just walked past, did go there about 4 years ago and enjoyed it, though it would have to be really bad for me to give any Taco Bill a low score. I enjoy the dips in corn chip bowls, as well as La Combinacion.

Customer service was horrendous! Not even table water was given to us, the food took over 40 mins and there were about 2 other families inside. Cutlery was dirty, food was not the best.

What a great friendly place to go, the service was excellent, the food was fresh we will definitely be going back again.

Had dinner there last night for valentines day. The food was terrible. The soft shell taco tortilla was taken straight out of a pack with toppings placed on top. The taco wasn't warmed nor the beans. It was stone cold. Everything tasted lime it came out of a pack or tin. No flavour and very bland.
There was a very young girl left on her own to serve us. Although she was very nice she was way out of her depth and I felt very bad for her left on her own like that. Terrible experience

The ambience was wonderful, staffs were very welcoming, the presentation of food was also very beautiful but I felt the taste was missing of a Mexican food. Very bland, I ordered a veg barrito bowl, a barrito and a kids meal. The kids meal was very good and my kid loved it.

Great service during Covid. Had a beef and a chicken burrito. Hit the "Stuff it, I need a lockdown treat" spot.

Tacos were pretty good! Well we ordered chicken burrito bowl thought there were no chicken on the bowl. Very sad.

Taco Bill's is great for a quick bite for 2, a family dinner or a dinner out with friends. The frozen margaritas are absolutely the best, the nachos are always very good and their are many, many vegetarian options to choose from. However disappointingly my partner's meal (Chili soft shell tacos) had to be sent back as they were cold, possibly sitting there while my meal was being cooked. However that aside if you want some basic Mexican with a great drink in a casual environment, then you should definitely go to Taco Bill's. 1.10 thanks to the owner for responding to feedback and yes can't wait for lockdown to end so can come in for nachos and margaritas!

Had ordered in the uber eats last night. Food was awesome, sufficient and on time. They customised according to my request. Would recommend.

Amazed with the hospitality of the restaurant. My husband and me loved the service and our favourite was Nachos. Definitely a must go.

A must visit Mexican restaurant.if you are looking for good Mexican food with great service then this is the place to be…quantity of the food was enough for us with reasonable pricing.

Truly amazing restaurant with great Mexican food. I was greeted well when entered the restaurant and was recommended great vegetarian options. The food was great quality and the price was worth the the quantity as well. Would highly recommend it.

Have been here several times and have had the best Mexican meal and have never been disappointed with the service. Keep up the great work and can’t wait to be here next time!

After asking for an item not listed individually, as we were not that hungry and just consumed the Nacho plate, we were told that we could order separate Burritos, but when came out, was served as a meal. Told this is the separate serves, as the meal has beans on the side. I pointed out that there are beans and rice on the plate
Rather than create an issue, my daughter and i decided to let it go, as we did not want to spoil our meal.
Waitress comes back out at end of meal and stated that she was sorry about the confusion, and will only charge for the Burittos, which was all we had eaten anyway. I thanked her, and went in and paid When looking at my receipt, thinking that $84 was high, I seen that we were charged for full meals. Annoyed. She had no answer for this except to explain it would be her manager that reviewed the bill.
When asked if I could speak to her supervisor, was told no-one was available, but eventually spoke to "Sam"" that was not interested in listening, and blamed us for ordering something that "not on the menu " (even though we were told it was ok) and continually spoke derogatorily over myself that was remaining calm.

After saying to forget it, and that I would place this review, I was accused of blackmailing him, and he offered to "refund the rice and beans” portion.i refused this, as trying to save money was not why we were there, but to enjoy a meal with my daughter.
"Sam' then blamed the situation on his staff member explaining she was new. If this was the case, why no appropriate supervision?
Reasons for my low review
Food was only just, with dry seafood
Staff obviously poorly trained and not supervised
No empathy for the most important, the customers
Absolutely rude and almost abusive owner "Sam"
Not interested in pleasing the customers enjoying a night out
As most of these places, focus is more on the Uber Eats

I feel for the staff member trying her best.

This Taco Bill store has really improved from where it was some years ago. The food is now quite good, the service has generally improved (even though they were short handed) and there was no wait time to get a table on the Friday night we went. Not a patch on Mexico City down the road, but very much improved, and well worth a visit.
