We had such a great dinner at Sweet Salt! The staff were so welcoming and friendly and we were able to have a gluten free feast with no worries. Make sure you try the donuts, you would not believe they are gluten free! Big thanks to the Sweet Salt team and we will see you again

These guys are sensational. Great food and excellent service. Our Uber order was collected but the delivery guy never brought it to us. So they re-made our food for free!

If I could give 0 stars I would.
Absolutely horrible food and even more disgraceful service.
We placed a phone order and were there to pick it up within 10 minutes. The food was already ready which was extremely fast for the large order we placed.
We paid over $80 and took it home (2 min drive). Once we arrived home we opened the bags and the chips were cold and soggy, the fish looked like it was off and tasted extremely bad and the potatoes cakes and corn jacks were soggy, oily and not fresh.
We called the next morning to let them know that we all had food poisoning the night before from their food and they were rude, arrogant and disrespectful on the phone. Refused to give a refund.
Will be calling the health department on this company to go do a food inspection.

Possibly the BEST place I've been. Absolutely in love with the food and the staff seem genuinely happy to be working!

Great service. Great food. Great staff. New management is amazing. 100% would recommend and worth the 30 minute drive.

Would love to have been able to review the food. However they’re closed when their info says otherwise.

Best gluten free dimmy of my life. Amazing range of GF, incredible customer service to say the very least - even helped me to the car with my bags due to being on crutches. Crunchiest yummy chips. Every bite, an experience. How did I not discover this until now? !? !

We had a problem with our meal so called up and explained the issue. David the owner resolved the issue within seconds and even delivered the meal himself.

I have been a coeliac since 2005. I have tried gluten free fish at perhaps 8 different restaurants in this time across Victoria. Sweet Salt is hands down the BEST! It's so good that you can't even tell it's gluten free! My partner (not coeliac) eats it and loves it. The staff at Sweet Salt are so friendly and helpful. We've been here 10+ times and never had a mix up or issues with gluten free! They take their responsibility seriously.love this cafe! The owner David is a wonderful human. Thanks Sweet Salt. It's an A+ from us!

I love this place because I am Coeliac and they are accredited by Coeliac Australia. But also the dim sims, potatoes cakes, chips, fish etc are the yummiest.

The absolute best fish and chips in all of Melbourne! David and his excellent team offer some of the tastiest GF fried treats and by far the greatest customer service I've ever experienced at such an establishment. Keep up the awesome work, folks!

My partner with Coeliacs and I love going to Sweet Salt. They have separate fryers etc.for their gluten free food, the staff are always really friendly and knowledgeable and the food is delicious. Such a huge range of gluten free options that just keeps growing. Yesterday we tried their gluten free donuts and oh they are amazing, I don't usually like gluten free donuts but these were incredible. Can't wait to go back and try the gluten free waffles with gluten free ice cream, we'll have to share a meal though to make sure we have room for the waffles.

If you’re looking for GF/coeliac approved or just delicious fish and chips, then this is your place! The batter was so thin and crispy and wasn’t greasy whatsoever. The staff were so friendly and kind, being very mindful of cross contamination with a seperate fryer. Cannot recommend more! P.s don’t forget to try a donut!

Amazing gluten free burger and gf fried chicken burger. Certified by coeliac Australia so it's safe for the coeliacs.

Can be a bit slow when busy if you eat in but could not have been more worth the wait.

Staff were nice and they even gave us some free gf donuts to try.
Have been back 3 times and will continue to go there.

Great food, only thing bit scared our gluten free order has been mixed up. Seem to be some changes in staff. Which is well, but we go there for gluten free options. More training? Four stars coz there is room for improvement.

This place is a haven for people with gluten intolerance. It's so nice to have so many options! I really like the salads too.

Amazing fresh fish, great chips and their potato cakes are amazing! Celiac accredited and they are so very careful with catering for gluten free needs. Thorough confirmation of orders and reconfirming on how it's been packaged separately if need be.

I am not sure why in the last month the potato cakes are soggy and it just isn't the same great food
