Amazing service and Dr Chakma is fantastic. He really cared and took his time. I highly recommend this doctor and practice.

The receptionist lady who is always there is so RUDE and UNPROFESSIONAL. Dont know why she's working there all the time I think if the clinic tries to hire someone with better ''attitude'' they would of gotten more clients.

Dr Kosasih is great, I’ve been seeing him for a few years now. He gives real, honest advice and listens to what I’ve got to say about my body. He believes in getting to the root cause of the problem rather than just throwing drugs to mask the symptoms, I couldn’t recommend him enough.

Always so happy with Dr Lisa Chang's professional service and attention to detail and care during my consultations. I have been a long time patient of Dr Chang and couldn't recommend her more. The whole team at Swanston Street Medical Centre have always been so helpful and professional. Thank you.

Appointments are always late, they don't respect your times and asked you to arrive a bit earlier but you end up waiting more than 30 minutes. They should tell the people the real time instead of making you wait plus the parking around it's very difficult and expensive.

Visiting this clinic since my original clinic is fully booked out and am runnning late (already 3 mins late) but was literally across the street. However, i still decided it was right to call ahead give them a heads up.

Upon calling and informing them of my location, i got berated by the receptionist condecendingly and my appointment was forcefully shifted to 30 minutes later. This meant that in order to minimise my exposure time in the clinic i had to loiter around for the next 20 minutes downstairs. As soon as i reached the clinic, said receptionist was easily identifiable from her tone as she was being borderline racist to an asian lady infront of me who had difficulty speaking english. As an asian myself, seeing that is truly disgusting and repulsive.

All this just for a 5 minute consulation that costs 100$.

TL;DR, go if you'd like to splurge money in return for a karen experience. Else, there are better options.

Linda the practice manager is very rude and racist I must say. I took my elderly parents who are more than 60 years old for a pathology test, where they are understaffed and askd us to come back after 1 hour where my parents were fasting and has pre-existing medical condition. She was dictating her receptionists and also did not offer any seating arrangements rather than telling us to leave the premise. She has previously been very rude and stabornne to other clients and myself too where I have been going to this medical center for l;ast 6 years to Dr Chakma who is from my background too and he indeed is very nice person. She must resign or be fired who has no respect for people and especially for elderly people.

Definitely stupid went there:)

My right side ear got infection and the doctor gave me a medicine made me feel even worse:)
I felt so painful yesterday night and even can’t go to sleep:)

I called them back see if I can get help but the receptionist was so rush to end my phone call (she told me the doctor who gave me consultation was not there today and I want to ask more questions but she just hang up.

How could $64 payment did nothing for my ear condition and even make it worse?
Now I understand why the review range is just around 2.5.

Today I went to see a doctor in hospital:)
terrible experience in Swanston street medical centre, highly recommend don’t go there except you want to ‘treat urself bad’

They charge a $100 cancellation fee when you call in advance and cancel an appointment (during CBD rioting and an earthquake)

Dr Kosashi is not friendly at all once you request a medical certificate. I was genuinely ill but he made me feel like I am faking my symptoms. Will not have a consultation with him again in the future. Even when you show up on time for your appointment, they will make you wait for about 30 minutes very often.

Can't thank enough Dra. Lidija for the excellent care and for take time with my son. I already had a good experience with her back in Brisbane so when we found out she is here, in Melbourne, so close to my place, that made my day. One of the best doctors I know, listen to all your concerns, never rush you and always right on her diagnosis.
Thank you to the Receptionist too, she was very caring and helpful when I had to pay for the consultation.

The worst experience.bad servise.the.doctor did not show at the appointment, the reception just made me wait for more than 30 minites. They only take action when i told them i already wait so long.then they just arrange another doctor to me.the new doctor just check me about 3 minutes and then told me to buy medicine in chemist.super bad service

We are really satisfied with the services of the Physio, Sarah. I had an issue with 3 different parts of the body: knee, shoulder and back. All improved just in 3 sessions, each session for each body. The exercises recommended were easy and specifically targeting the parts in question. Good Job, Sarah.

Very happy with physiotherapist Sarah who was super positive and easy going during my sessions which made me feel comfortable.
She helped me to solve my issues within very short period Also, GP Dr. Lidija is an amazing doctor easy to talk and ready to help. I would absolutely recommend this clinic to everyone.

I should’ve read the reviews before making an appointment here. I only chose to come to Swanston Medical Centre because it was close to work and I had an urgent condition that I thought needed to be checked immediately.

Apparently 15-minute consultation doesn’t really mean 15 minutes - it means ONE question. If you ask another one it automatically becomes a long consultation for which you have to pay almost double, even if the appointment doesn’t take 15 minutes. I was in the doctor’s room for a whole span of 5 minutes and was charged $98.95. All I asked about were an insect bite and an itchy throat.

They do bulk bill with a $25 fee gap (for BUPA at least). But honestly, why come here when the time you spend waiting is much longer than the time you can actually spend with the doctor?

This is the worst and most unprofessional medical center that I have ever visited in my life. We went for a check-up about a sprain knee, where charged 120$ for the consultation, only to be referred to a hospital for an MRI. The problem is that the MRI was described in the referral to be performed on the wrist instead of the knee, so the hospital could not perform the MRI at all.
Of course I went back to the medical center to claim my money back, and their reply is that we cannot claim anything because it was a "minor mistake". No compensation whatsoever for the additional expenses incurred in transportation and all the time that we have lost.
Never go to this medical center unless you want to be scammed as well.
