Swagath Grand Glen Huntly

Today we had dinner at this resturant this is the first time I have experienced this in 15 years. It is the worst resturant for Coustermer Service. They charged us for changing the plates after eating the ontray.

Below is my review for Swagath, 5 years ago. Sadly, the experience has been dipping since.

Had to take out lunch as I was rushing for work, the chicken fried rice was not only terrible, taste wise, it had 3 very small pieces of chicken and was loaded with rice. To be fair, there was some egg to compensate for the chicken.

Please avoid take away, it will be a disappointing experience.

Swagath is our preferred Indian restaurant. We dine here simply because of the choice of authentic mughlai, indo-chinese and both veg and non-veg dishes. Their dum biriyani is as close to Hyderabadi biriyani as it can get. They are BYO, service is swift and the hosts are very hospitable.

The indian server was very confused with the order and carried a bad attitude.
Not sure what her issue was, but she was angry whenever we ordered or change few items in our order.

If you cannot serve a customer with a smile than you shouldnt be working in this industry

I will not come back, although some of my freinds are regulars here

One star for the food taste

To the indian server - Even if you are owner of the restaurant your attitude sucks big time!

Food is really nice here so I keep ordering however service and delivery is the worseeeee. I ordered just two normal biryani and they took more than 2 hours to deliver. This is not the first time it happen more that 6,7 time so I want to write a review and people know. Thank you

Very rude behaviour, if ask anything they are thinking like that paying form their pocket. Will prefer not to come here again.

The Food here is good but we need to be careful while ordering otherwise they will make extra spicy.

The interior is very nice. It has artistic touch. Food is very tasty and price is reasonable.podi chicken is my always favorite

Would have reviewed zero for their disrespectful and disloyal behaviour, as I am not sure if that would show up in their profile going with the least rating. Given that we do not eat any non-vegetarian food today, ORDERED A GOBI BIRYANI AND SERVED WITH A SPIDER IN IT

Despite calling them the staff showed a careless attitude when informed about it saying their manager will call and when haven’t received a call and we called them again. THEY JUST DISCONNECTED THE CALL AS THEY DO NOT CARE A BIT ABOUT THE ISSUE. Such irresponsible was their assistance, and would never suggest going to a place as such ever️

Yesterday I ordered 2 chicken 65 biryani in Uber eats but I get one chicken biryani (not 65) after waiting 1 and half hour. I tried calling but they didn’t answer. Food was good though but I didn’t like the service. Either they should have told me if they don’t have chicken 65 biryani.

Is that roti or naan you guys are serving? And the curries have extra colour added in them which makes your hand red after having that. I don’t recommend at all

I order the goat biryani and 2 mango lassi. The mango lassi is half? No straw, all splitting, lead was open. I always used to order from here but.the biryani was cold.

Worst quality of food. Bhaji served mixed with old punjabi subji. Dosa served with sambhar mixed with all other excess curries made during afternoon time. Served during late evening. Very bad experience. Lost almost 15 customers of our group last night. Will never visit again.

We regularly get takeaways from Swagath Grand. I love their food no doubt about it.
I would like to ask a question to this food bussiness and others who sell biryani.when you order a dry item like rice how do they expect it to be eating without a gravy or somthing fluid? Isn't biryani and mirchi ka salan like idly and chutney? When they charge what ever they charge for family packs or jumbo packs why cannot they factor that little extra cost to give the salan? Why is the conjusy in giving that 100ml of salan? Doesn't it complete the experience of your biryani for your customers? If you give salan without making us do a second trip and asking for it?
you guys should seriously give this aspect a thought, since this review is coming from a avid fan of swagath grand biryani!

Upon ordering an extra mild curry here, I received a deconstructed curry (dry ingredients with a sauce I could apply myself) and it was so spicy I couldn’t eat mire than half of it. Won’t be going back.

Tried Goat biryani for the first time and its the best so far.
Authentic Indian taste.
Go give it a try

Food was really good. One of the best masala dosas in this area. Paneer 65 biriyani was good, but could have avoided adding curry leaves to biriyani. Palak paneer was yummy as well.

Sumptuous food with excellent service and friendly staff. Quick service. Must try their new addition- goat pulao

Below average dining experience. All efforts were being put towards filling take away and delivery pick ups with no attention to those dining in house.

Food was ok. Will stick to takeaway in future; much better experience.

Fantastic restaurant in Glen Huntly with very well renovated & of course quality of food is great as well! I visited many times with my family & friends, all the time most of the vegetarian food have wonderful taste & especially in South Indian food they are serving very delicious Sambhar!

Must try BUTTER PANNER DOSA one of the yummiest dosa I ever had. This type of dosa I never had in any restaurant it’s different dosa than all other restaurants have. And I n my friends usually eat here, most of the items are such delicious like Briyani, roti etc etc.recommended restaurant and ambiance is good.
