Sunny Ridge Strawberry Farm

Strawberries at premium prices. Do not expect “farm gate” prices. Expect upmarket, exclusive grocery store prices.

Unfortunately for us, due to maybe too much rain, not enough sun/hot weather or wrong variety of strawberries cropping, the strawberries were big, juicy but not flavoursome, nor sweet.

We felt we got better fruit and better value at Queen Victoria Market. A honeypot for tourists looking for an outing.

For the novelty, they do offer “pick your own”. (We did not partake.)

Good strawberry dishes! High demand but not enough seats. Under new management but if you can get seats it's awesome. Came here for my birthday after lunch deserts.

This is great activity for all ages. For $30 my partner and I were able to pick 1 large box worth of fruit. We probably also ate as much as we picked.

When the Strawberries are in season which is Sumner, they are absolutely delicious picked fresh.
They have a variety of different price points, depending on what you want to pick and how much you want.
The kids love this activity.

We love to visit for our annual strawberry picking adventure. Pleasantly surprised to also pick blueberries and blackberries this year. They were out of this world! Yum. The Cafe is a bonus if you need a coffee or to dip your berries in chocolate

It was good overall. Nice desserts with many options. Some things to consider:
The scones were not fresh.
The strawberry was not very sweet.
The liquid chocolate could be better.
I would go eat again though.

Absolutely love the Rocky Creek Strawberry Farm, from the soap & fluffy scrubs to the moscato & best Strawberries on the peninsula, they are unbeatable.

Lovely facilities and shop. Strawberry picking available in the season. Friendly team and ideal setting. 25 minutes from Hastings and many other interesting spots! Great for family with inside and outside seating.
Scones and jam and cream were best in a long time! Good coffee too.

Great value for money. Brilliant if you have kids. And the staff were very kind and asked lots of questions, had some lunch in the cafe very nice to break the day up! Will come back.

Good fun, muddy, the hosts were nice but definitely could of been more attentive on directing us where to go etc.was all a bit of a guessing game

Great value for money, would be great if it was Australian owned however reasonably priced with good food.

Great experience for kids. Yummy strawberries too. Entry price includes a punnet. So for the savvy shoppers think of it as going to pick your own strawberries. Make sure you wear boots and carry a spare set of shoes on a rainy day as it gets very muddy.

Went during Easter and it was bustling! Ate at the cafe which has indoor and outdoor seating, order at the counter.strawberry is the star here! The strawberry smoothies and strawberry ice cream is delicious! Savoury options available too. Chocolates and other regional produce like chutneys and olive oils for sale.

Great day out. Strawberries were so sweet and the Cafe is amazing. Highly recommend the waffles with Strawberries. Definitely worth a visit

Beautiful strawberry farm where you can pick your own strawberries. You pay for the strawberries you take home so you can graze on a couple while picking but obviously it’s not washed so probably don’t want to go overboard. There also a shop where you can buy prepicked strawberries and they are some of the best/freshest strawberries we’ve ever had. Also plenty of other strawberry related goods in the store

How cool is this place. Pay a small entry fee and fill up your punnets!
Good family fun, sit and relax afterwards outside with their Belgium chocolate fondue and even more strawberries. OMG. Coffee here was also great.

Even coming to end of season on a cooler day not the best day to go for sure definitely coming back on a warmer day, we got shoe covers and took out coats and umbrellas. Staff are friendly and the Cafe with undercover outdoor seating and indoor seating options looked great too busy for us to get a table at that time so will try next time. We put on our blue shoe covers and there's was bins around as well for after to take them off which was helpful. A few steps down and we went to the back field walked slowly as mud was starting to be a problem but lovely strawberries definitely a warmer day activity but was in the area.

This was a really great outing for any family and friends. I’m really happy that I did this and everyone that I was with really enjoyed themselves. Picking a punnet of strawberries (and maybe eating a bunch) was great fun.

An amazing place for some yummy food and fun strawberry picking but I definitely would suggest more seating areas to enjoy there food and drinks.

A lovely place for Mum & Dad to take their kids to pick strawberry and berries yourself. Also can buy lots of strawberry products and at the same time try their strawberry ice-cream & some snacks to choose with hot or cold drinks too.
