Sun Theatre Yarraville

As something of a growing cinephile and film buff, I really love this place. I only discovered it last year, but I now find I can hardly content myself with my local Village after experiencing the lovely "old-timey" feeling the Sun affords me, complete as it is with very reasonable pricing, popcorn in paper bags, and an array of eight unique cinemas. I confess I've only been on two occasions thus far - once, when I caught a 70mm screening of Dunkirk, and secondly, when I enjoyed Avengers: Infinity War's memorable opening day earlier this year.
All I can say, is: Here's to many, many more movies at the Sun!

The Sun theatre is vibrant busy cultural hub of West Melbourne. Arrive early to get you wine and ice cream before heading on into one of the many theatres of various sizes. Ask the ushers for a rug of the aircon is to cold. Parking can be a challenge but people understand and help each other indicating the soon to be vacated spots.

By far the best cinema in Yarraville. Ok, it's the only one but its still great. I wish more villages had these.

Such a vibrant place in yarraville. Pop up park with people, children and dogs. The sun theatre has great movies and several theatres with very comfortable seats. Highly recommend it.
