Story House Early Learning Black Rock

Fantastic, consistent staff, great education and activities and a warm, close knit community vibe. We are thrilled with black rock story house after our previous daycare in the area, highly recommend it to anyone.

All the staff here are great and they do an amazing job looking after my daughter. Also Margarita the chef prepares the best meals for the kids. Thank you to all the staff.

Story House is an old friend of ours. My now 8yo daughter started at Story House when she was 7 months old and went 5 days a week until she went to school. My second daughter who is 18 months old has just started a month ago at the centre.

Both times, my kids love going here. The carers are amazing and the individual attention my children have got is just amazing. The activities, the play based education and other programs are very well thought out and are of a very high standard. My 8yo used to absolutely love Beach Kinder days.

The fact that we went back to the centre the second time around is a testament to the work they do at the centre. I highly recommend Story House Early Education Centre in Black Rock.

My daughter has not long been at Story House Early Learning but thanks to all at the centre, she has settled in very quickly. From the kinder staff who are so friendly and caring and committed to learning, to the lovey chef who makes delicious meals and always greets everyone with a big welcoming smile, to the gorgeous children who attend the centre who from the first day, grabbed my daughters hand and welcomed her to the group. Hav in g just moved to the area, I feel very fortunate to have my child attend Story House and would definitely recommend the centre to anyone looking for childcare. Thanks Story House.

My toddler Hudson has been attending Story House Early learning since December 2021, however my journey started well before then. I had started enquiring about sending Hudson when I was pregnant as lived close by, and I was instantly drawn to the warm, supportive, intimate family vibe the centre gave off. Bell the manage was so kind and supportive from the very beginning in easing and worries or concerns I had as a new mum to be. When Hudson was born they were so fantastic at keeping the communication channels open until he was ready to start, and at that stage went above and beyond in allowing me to come in and have several orientation sessions until I felt he was ready. The way they were with him put me at ease too, so loving and kind.

I have appreciated so much that Bell and the team also keep me updated as to Hudson’s progress and accomodate any concerns I have with his sleep, eating etc. As a new mum full of anxiety leaving her baby they have made the transition so much easier and I see how much he is thriving and enjoys his time there. All of the staff their including their amazing chef are just so lovely and kind. I couldn’t recommend more:)

Story House Black Rock have been so lovely and accommodating as my son started in the nursery - giving him extra cuddles and attention as he settles in. They have happily provided me with reassurance and updates throughout his first few weeks. Thank you to Bell, Kanchan and the entire team for making our boy feel safe and comfortable)

My grandchildren attend Storryhouse Black rock and they could not be happier! I am also very happy as my grandchildren are in a safe environment with wonderful educators and a kinder program that helps and encourags the children to learn and be confident.

All the educators at story house have been amazing with my little girl. Everyone always has a smile on their face and are so so welcoming. The staff made me feel so at ease when leaving my baby girl. I get regular updates through the day and love seeing pictures of Layla playing and having fun. Thank you to the whole team at the centre, you all do a fantastic job!

My daughter loves this centre! Educators are great, always involved into each child and their development, you can see they have passion for what they are doing. Chef foods are amazing, always so tasty!

I actually can't say enough nice things about Bell and the team. Our (nearly 2 year old) daughter has been going to Story House for gosh, a year or so now and she loves it there. All the staff and kids are so nice and friendly, our daugher comes home and says all their names every night before bed and its some of her first words in the morning after waking up. They go the extra mile, just recently our daughter has been having some issues and Bell has sent numerous emails (some at 1am) asking how she is going and following up to see if there is anything we need. This just goes to show how genuine, real, kind and caring Bell and the team are. The facilities are great, and they are always playing games, painting or doing something new! We are so happy we have a little family away from family for our daughter, we all couldnt be happier!

I am a first time mum and had to make the decision of placing my 7 months old daughter into child care. Story House - Black Rock seemed like a great option. At this stage my daughter is only at Story House one day a week, but I feel relaxed and happy leaving her with the wonderful team of educators. I can't recommend this centre highly enough!

We moved to Black Rock 8 months ago from the UK and had a really tough time finding a good child care centre for our daughter to go to. Thankfully I was told about Story House from a good friend and from the moment I met the Manager Bell, the incredible Chef Margareta and the lovely staff of Story House I knew this was the perfect place to bring our daughter.

Not only are all the team so kind, caring and committed to my daughters happiness and development, the lesson plans are so creative and our daughters teacher is unbelievable with children.

We feel so blessed to have found such a lovely environment for our daughter and I cant not recommend Story House highly enough. Happy Child, happy parents

A fabulous centre with good facilities and most importantly, dedicated and beautiful staff. Both of my kids have loved their time here. Staff support of my youngest when she first started was genuine and caring and she continues to thrive as she progresses through the classes here. Would recommend this centre.

This is our family’s second experience of childcare, after having a not so positive experience with our first. What a difference! I cannot speak highly enough of Story house Black Rock. They make us feel like home. All the educators are amazing! They are very welcoming and professional with a great attitude towards the children and parents. The strategies and activities they use to teach the kids are varied and fascinating. They create exciting themes, celebrate important cultural events and expand the children's knowledge and learning. The rooms are beautifully appointed. Both my sons love their new childcare, are thriving and having loads of fun!
The centre is brilliantly managed by Bell, who is always on the ball with the admin side of things and always listens to my concerns and responds immediately.
Massive thanks to the entire team for your hard work and excellent care you provide to our family! I would highly recommend Story House Black Rock to any parent who may be looking for the perfect childcare centre for their children.

Our daughter has been attending Story House - nursery room for the last 6 weeks. She is slowly adjusting to her new routine.

Couldn’t recommend Storyhouse Black Rock more highly. My son has attended for the past 2 years and has formed strong friendships with each of the carers who are all amazing! Parent communication is great, keeping us well informed of the kids day to day sensory & play activities and upcoming events. Such a positive energy when you walk through the door!

We've been taking our kids to this childcare since it was called Wallaby.back then our daughter was 6 months old (now 4). A lot of change happened in this childcare since it became Story House, but the one thing that never changed was the love and care my kids received.

Furthermore, now I'm even more happier than ever before. The team right now is incredible and we still have some Wallaby era educators and some great new ones.

We also started taking our 1 year old son there too. I remember when we were doing the orientation I found Bell (Manager) having a kisses and tickles session with him both laughing. That's when I knew he was in great loving hands.

After some years you get to know all the educators, which kind of become part of the family. Narelle the Nursery, Kate and Annie with toddlers and Jess in Kinder. And then you have Margarita, the Chef, that sends you your favorites (if you ask and show some love) in the kids bags (apple rolls for me). They all play a part of your family and make you feel that way.

I'm pretty amazed with the work in Kinder.we are constantly updated with what they do via the Story Park app. Best moment of they day is when they send you the photos of your kids having fun!

Bell has done a great job with the childcare and I think everyone is very happy about it!

Story house is such a wonderful centre. Every time I drop my kids off I know that they will be happy, safe and well looked after. Both my children started when they were about one year old and the team worked with our family to ensure that everyone was incredibly happy every day.
