Stomping Ground Brewery & Beer Hall

Had lunch here today, interesting setup, had the beef brisket which was delicious the glaze was spicy, the kaiserflesch and cabbage side lacked volume and flavours. I did note that sides are limited with a meal, you really need to add sides from the menu to pad out the meal.
But I would happily go again now I know my way around.

Fantastic beer hall complete with heaps of atmosphere and fire places. Tasting paddles are a great way to sample the excellent beers. Some groovy street art in the surrounding streets as well.

Huge place with lots of seating and standing options. Choices and choices of beers, good food. Friendly staff who make a proper effort of cleaning surfaces between customers. Kids friendly and dog friendly and cyclists friendly. Music but not too loud. Brewing visible on site. Takeaway beer available, but not the full range.

This is a Melbourne establishment and staff here are the best (Mish and many others served us at the counter and I don't know how they stay so chilled. I can see an excellent working culture here). One of us Spilled some beer and one of the guys serving spotted that in a matter of seconds (and they are already crazy busy) and made a joke about him spilling at the interview and even mentioned that they are hiring. The beers, pizzas, croquet, calamari and everything we had was unique and tasty. It is a very vegetarian friendly menu too! Thank you guys, I am tempted to apply for a job but will come back for some beer and burger very soon ;)

As a brewery - good choice of beers
as a venue - great decor and ambience
as a restaurant - horrible - stay away from steak (overcooked old piece of meat with a bit of greens not worth $36, not even pub grade), stuff forgot order (in an empty restaurant)

Awesome brewery with great atmosphere, staff, food and range of beers. Grilled octopus was incredible. Really enjoyed our visit.

Our company had their End of Financial Year lunch at Stomping Ground. Fantastic space and atmosphere, friendly service, good food, dog-friendly, 1pm lunch ended at 8: 30pm!

What a sensational venue! So open, bathed in natural light and surrounded by greenery. There is even an area for the kids. Food was solid and beers choices were plentiful!

Staff were friendly and polite. The meal and beer was quite good, the atmosphere was comfortable to sit in and relax.

Stomping ground has been voted one of the best beers halls in Australia. And its easy to see why. Quality beers, tasty food and a wonderful and spacious beer hall. Top class

The best beer and best food around. With the most relaxed atmosphere. Heaps of beers on tap to choose from. The Bearbrass beer is unreal and nothing better than the beef brisket and lamb roast.

We choose to go here every year for a family get together and it's always great. Such a relaxed atmosphere with good food and drinks and great friendly service. We'll definitely be back next year.

Very busy, but still great service. Nice selection of beers. Not a big menu, but we had the brisket share plate and it was delicious. Kids loved the play area too.

I was celebrating my birthday with friends and before my booking finishes they asked us to leave with no reasons. I felt so frustrated and disrespected. I will never come back to this place.

US craft beer taven style done very well. A big space that will appeal to a broader audience rather than beer nerds. Very good and quick service. Menu doesn't stray into radical territory but doesn't need to. Beer list will keep most happy although an absence of big beers was noticable. Very busy from 4: 30pm plus.

Have had pizza and beer here many times. The beer, food and service are all excellent. Always lots of varieties of beer on the menu and the pizza is delicious.

Had my combined 30th at Stomping Ground, the events coordinator was super helpful in organising the event and the staff on the night were great.we ordered the canapes and the food was really yummy. The space is really nice for a chilled party, lots of people commented on the nice greenery. Thanks so much for hosting our 30th!

Another brewpub.reasonable selection of snacks meals and deserts (all matched to stomping ground brews). Would recommend.

Visiting from Coffs Harbour, great location, solid selection of beers to cater for most and allow for some experimentation. In my case it was the sour ale, enjoyed it but wouldn't brew at home. The pizza was excellent and the staff went out of there way with my query re the IBU of the Hop Stomper. My wife enjoyed the Brown Ale and the venue- highly recommend a visit.
