Stomping Ground Brewery & Beer Hall reviews
87 I came here today with my friends around 7pm
I noticed terrible smell straight away however I decided to not make a big deal of it
A few hours after dinner I got pretty sick, just finished vomiting the second time. I had chips, pork belly and beer
It's such a welcoming place, perfect for both small and large groups. The space is huge and there are tons of comfy spots to hang out. They've got a fantastic range of beers on tap - something for everyone. Plus, the indoor and outdoor seating areas, including a standing zone, are just great. There's even a cute little tree house for kids! The foodis Yummy! Overall, a top-notch spot for a fun and friendly time. A five stars from me!
Best haloumi I've ever had. Chips were also great.
We were a group of 8 and ordered together, but the food arrived very staggered, with some people nearly finished before others received their food.
Lovely vibe, not too noisy to hear, and they had a real Christmas tree! <3
Nice place, food was good (proper thick chips!) and convenient walk from Collingwood station. My only beef was it was reasonably quiet on a Sunday but drinks ordered on their app still took a while to come out.
We held our wedding celebration at Stomping Ground. The atmosphere was great, the food was perfect and the staff were extremely helpful and accommodating from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for a better way to celebrate!
This a very nice option if you wanna go with a Big group of Friends, we sure to have a Booking, but if you arriv early we can also find a Seat with no reservation. The service is always kind and friendly Young people. The food is nice, they have a small but with variety menú, also for kids. Pints for 13$ and apperol spritz for 15$. Pizzas and many other good options. Busy but at the same time a good place to have a chat. They also have some live djs. I Saw some doggies also, which is amazing they are pet friendly.:)
Great food, Great selection of craft beer, and other fine beverages, Loved the atmosphere and great service, take away options available. 10/10
Brought my friend and her parents here for their last dinner in Australia as I’d been here a couple times before for drinks.
Not gonna lie, the service was pretty non existent - the best service we probably had was our own table member going directly to the kitchen to ask for some aioli and then grabbing us some cutlery on the way back cause no one else did…
Food was mixed reviews amongst the table, the drinks were good.
'Classic for a reason'! I'm there all the time! So many things I like about the place. Let's try to list a few!
The space itself is beautiful, and it's big, so you can go in confident you will have a place to sit. And then you can try different parts - the open area at the back in the summer, or the middle part with nice fans, or the little side bar area at the front.
The beer is great, and changes regularly - so there's always a little moment of 'oooo, what can I try this time'. And then the food is really good. So - if you've never been, try it. If you've been, don't be shy to return!
I come here from time to time with work colleagues due to its proximity from our office. I always enjoy the general atmosphere and the beer selection is good and I always enjoy sampling something new. However, where we are always left disappointed is with the food quality. We eat every time and have tried a variety of menu options. The quality of the meat used for steaks seems low, hamburgers are dry and over-cooked, pizzas are lacking in flavour and don’t seem to be made with any degree of expertise in what ingredients go well together. The bowl of chips and the slab of garlic bread are probably the only things on the menu that you could trust in my experience. If this part of the business could be improved, you’d have a great venue on your hands.
Fantastic tour about the history of stomping grounds and an in-depth look into the process of making, packaging and storing beer.
The tour guide (I think his name may have been Nick?) was incredible with amazing energy.
Would highly recommend to anyone interested in learning about the brewing process of beer.
The photo attached is the tasting beers you get included in the tour.
Great place for functions. Had my birthday party there and the event managers and staff were very friendly and overall great during planning and on the day.
The venue looks amazing, beers and food are both excellent.
Really bad service. Not recommended. There are many other more positive fun environments out there so give this place a pass if you want to have a good night out.
.
Great food, great beer, beautiful decor and the staff are next level. Thank you so much for the efforts you went to fishing my ID out from under the floor. So grateful ️
Had our EOY work function at Stomping Ground and we had a great time. Everything from the planning stages to the day of the event went smoothly - food and drinks were great and staff were lovely. Big thanks to Tana for helping us get organised.
We hosted a great corporate event at Stomping Ground Brewery. The staff and venue were excellent. We found their basic catering package of 4 items was not enough to fill our guests so we ordered extra food on the night (Pizzas and chips), it came out quickly and worked out well.
The manager who was a young red haired lady, kicked my cousin out who was kicked out for being aboriginal and was arrogant in her authority. My cousin brought about 6 thousand dollars in business for the company which made the circumstance more outrageous. They stole 5 dollars and never returned the currency!
Beer and cider was great, food was ok, a lot of dishes with nuts, and the serves weren't overly large, but it was tasty
Great food and great atmosphere. Also has a little cubbyhouse to keep the young ones entertained.
We celebrated my son’s 5th birthday party here yesterday and everyone had a great time. We live close by and come here regularly because of the play area. Parents can enjoy a cold tap beer and a tasty bite (food is always consistent and delicious -> the pizza is and there is a decent variety of great vegetarian dishes), while the little ones run around in the cubby house.
