The service we received from Brad and his team was phenomenal and the food was incredible topped of with some fantastic wines! Would highly recommend Steels Gate Wines to anyone looking for a great day out

The food and wine was amazing. The hospitality by the staff was also 5 stars. One of the best wineries in the Yarra valley region.

We heard about Steels Gate through a friend and came with the family. Amazing service and the food was incredible, I had the lamb ragu and pappardelle, I had a taste of the coconut curry and was torn about which which i liked better. Their sparkling was equally of high standard. Thank you for a wonderful time, will come back soon:)

Wonderful unpretentous winery, delicious wine and food, and pet friendly (protected from the cold weather on the Pinot balcony!).

Brilliant informed service of very different but beautiful wines.
The food is simply astounding. Pork cheek was mind blowing & followed up with the pork belly in hoisin sauce with Asian slaw fantastic!

We're thrilled that Steels Gate is our "local" restaurant and cellar door of choice. We've enjoyed more than a few dinners there over the summer season. The food, wine and service continues to excel.
And to cap it off, the outside dining area is pooch friendly, so our little man can join us for a relaxing evening overlooking the vines.

The food's good, the wine's great, and the staff are exceptional!

Plus they have some interesting red grapes you'd be hard pressed to find from other Australian vintners.

Great winery and restaurant, we had their Grazing Platter and it was fantastic. The setup is nice with good seating inside and out near the vines.

The boys attention to details to is shown through their passion for what they do.

The team they have together really compliments the Establishment as well.

The meals were Devine, I couldn’t go past the duck and was fortunate to taste the lamb shoulder as well. Both cooked to perfection and portion size was just right.
Absolutely delicious.

I fell in love with Pinot noir 2018 it was my favourite. Looking forward to the 2019.

Do yourselves a treat people and drop in and see these guys.

It was a great afternoon of food, wine and conversation with the owners of Steels Gate Winery. We have visited on a number of occasions with the old owners - when it was Chantel and pleased that the the entire experience was amazing. If you are in the Yarra Valley make sure you visit, what I consider, one of the best wineries in the valley.

Had an amazing time today at Steels Gate Winery. We had lunch with a couple of friends and we were all extremely impressed by the quality of the food, wine and service. Very friendly and attentive service in a very relaxed and welcoming atmosphere. Please keep the duck salad on the menu.
Looking forward to getting back there in the near future.

Always a pleasure heading down to Steels Gate Winery. Stunning boutique winery, intimate and very relaxing. We love coming down and feeling like we have been welcomed into someone's home. Our kids hang out with owners, Brad & Matts young son, giving us a chance to have a chat and enjoy a beautiful glass of vino! Chef Sam never fails to put on a gorgeous spread - his platters are to die for! Highly recommend for singles, couples, families and groups. Personal service from Brad & Matt, amazing homely food, stunning wines, kid-friendly with outdoor and indoor activities and an intimate space for those wanting a break from the bigger wineries.

We love this little hidden gem! The foods delicious, the wines divine, the atmosphere is tranquil & calming, Brad the host is super nice, its obvious he genuinely loves what he does. An absolute must visit when in the Valley!

Just finished having lunch here (again) and had to leave a review because we love this place. We're locals and as is often the case, the first time we went here was on a wine tour just a few months ago! We've been back 3 times since.
Brad is an outstanding host, friendly and personable. The vineyard is quiet and intimate. The wine is amazing and their food is great too.
Do yourself a favour if you're visiting the Valley and venture away from the big names and go to a little gem like this one!
