49Came with friends on the Steak Special night. I don’t like steak but my friends do and they said they were great. I had the crispy pork belly - best I have had. Guinness to wash it down also excellent. Dessert was a HUGE chocolate brownie. What a night!
Original Guinness on tap and beautifully prepared food around the corner from waterfront. Absolute Gem!
Great food and really friendly staff. I've eaten here a few times and haven't come away disappointed.
Great selection of drinks and food. A little on the expensive side for a pub in terms of food bit is reccomended
Ordered food here, both meals and entrees came out the same time. Food was alright but mains were lukewarm. Entree was hot so they would of been waiting the mains on the entree. The cost doesn't simulate the quality. Had to ask for our drinks as they were not served first either. Staff when picking up plates and cleaning ect didn't even ask how our meal was very impersonal. Fair to say I wont be back
Food was nice enough, parma was on the large size and was good. They only had coleslaw and chips as a side, but were also nice. Only problem was the size of the room we were in wasn't that big, with lots of flat bright panels, meaning that the reverb in the room was terrible and made it hard to hear what others were saying at our own table
When classy and cool gets together in a place, and you can enjoy a #guinnessbear priceless! I love the renovation and the friendly staff. Mery Christmas guys! You nailed it!
Always great food.you can't go wrong
Just fantastic! We had a place booked for lunch fit there it was closed.so had to think quick I dropped in by chance to see if the Steampacket could do something as they were fully booked. Mary Anne asked the chef what he could do he said he could sort out a 3 course lunch for Be there in 5 of us for half the price! They set up another table and fitted right next to the beautiful Christmas tree! The lunch and staff were totally amazing! And I will never forget how they saved me and my family's Christmas!
Absolutely fantastic guys! Merry Merry Christmas you guys all deserve a medal x
One of oldest pubs in Vic. Cold beer, friendly staff, not too big, outdoor area. Within easy walking distance of a number of other pubs, ideal for a pub crawl!
Delicious food and lovely service. Highly recommend the calamari entre and the porterhouse steak!
We came here for a pre ghost tour dinner and the service was great. The atmosphere was fantastic and the dinner was delicious! We'll definitely be back!
Dining well organised. Seating and service tops very pleasant.
Food well cooked and tasty dishes.
The place has got even better since the lifting of COVID!
During COVID it was completely renovated and freshened! The range of boutique beers on tap is exciting & changes frequently as well.
Food is general range of standard pub food complemented with a satisfactory range of wines at a reasonable price; although some could be considered ‘pricy’!
Love this place. Great selection of both boutique and corporate beers. Friendly staff and reasonable prices.
This is place is really nice! The food is good, the customer service is excellent and the Hotel went through an overhauling, it looks very nice. I like the bar and the semi private room. The atmosphere is nice as well. Parking it's a bit tricky, but, you'll get there.
It's a Guinness and Kilkenny oasis in a Charlton desert. Service excellent, good food well priced.
Better than reliable pub food but not a wanky gastropub. Good selection of beers and wine by the glass. TV's for the footy and cricket etc but no pokie scourge. Staff are friendly and the regulars don't want to punch out blowins, so give it a go.

Was pleasant, on a side st quiet, staff friendly, great lunch and chilled beer on the tap can't get much better.
